What the hell happened to this guys' political career?

I looked him up on Twitter and it's like Creeds Thoughts. Nobody even engages. When they do its one liners like:

"You are pathetic".

This a case of hubris? That one RNC response video couldn't have done this to him could it?

Dude talked like 100mph. He was awkward as hell during one of the presidential after speeches or fact checking counter event or something like that. I think he dropped off after that.

Dropped out during Trump’s emergence & backed Rubio.

Then he retired from politics.

Trump made his arse quit, I guess.

Piyush ran for President with no constituency and no record of executive success the moment he won his second term as Governor of LA.

That, and he was completely awful in his SOTU response.

Talk about the wrong horse.

More I dive, seems like he landed at a think tank. He was never not smart, give him that. I'm sure he's doing well for him family.

He was very anti Trump in 2015.

I actually like Jindal, fwiw. He made a lot of good reforms but all of them were negated by JBE’s 8 year reign.

The SOTU rebuttal is the kiss of death.

And he’s still the best governor the state has had in 25 years.

That probably says something about something, but it’s a fact nevertheless.

If you say 20 I'll agree

Foster was far superior to Jindal.

Actually saw/talked with him briefly last week at Walmart on Burbank and Bluebonnet. Working in the private sector (guessing consultant/lobbyist) now.

Louisiana voters generally are the largest group of morons in the United States. We have the worst elected legislature in the developed world. We have the dumbest and most unqualified judiciary in the country. Our parish and local representatives are generally barely able to breathe.

Rivaled only by GOP primary voters in Arizona.

2003 I guess.

But I agree with you. Piyush was better than Blanco, JBE, or Jeff.

Nothing curious about it all

He was a direct contributor to the tanking of the state’s fiscal health

He consistently exhibited poor political instincts choosing stupid social hills to die on

He was generally viewed as self-serving and spent his 2nd term pushing presidential ambitions despite no one really liking him. He was as well-received in the 2016 GOP primary as Kamala in her 2020 primary

He left office with an approval rating in the 20s despised by nearly everyone and left politics entirely

He’s lucky to get the attention of insulting one-liners at this point. The fact that he’s even bothering posting anything shows how out of touch and self-serving he is

He tried to actually cut spending that's why he was the best and why he's hated.

He has the absolute weakest handshake I’ve ever had in my life. It was so squishy. Like seriously, I’m not sure if he even had any bones in his hands

Nah. He is viewed unfavorably because he started running a campaign for POTUS the second his was reelected governor instead of finishing the job in Baton Rouge.
