Leaves really starting to come down - mulch or bag?

I do both. Mulch first with my Snapper rear engine riding mower. Then do a 2nd pass with the bagger hooked up. Mulching 1st makes bagging more efficient since the leaves are chopped up.

Did this one fall, and next year the garden was awesome. We've got a big mature oak in our front yard, and I blew them all into a big pile, then used a shovel and rake to scoop them into a trash can, and mashed them up with a flat shovel really good. Dumped them all in my garden area and covered with a tarp after hosing it all down.

Leaves are great for the overall well being of your lawn

I'm aware of that but I wasn't sure if it would suffocate my lawn we have around 15 trees that are shedding leaves all over the place.

I’ve got 13 trees in my yard….i’ll be mulching at least once a week until after thanksgiving.
