So good to see them lose. Ohtani deserves it, and Freeman deserves another as well. Yankees suck!

I think this Yankees team is done until Judge retires.
It’s too much money to spend on someone who isn’t a “gamer” mentally.

The team was down 2-0 in a series, at home, and put up zero fight. That’s on the captain.

I hate both teams and I was rooting for a sweep. Hopefully, that gets done tonight just to spite that whore Rob Manfred.

Walking the lead off man and then leaving one in Freddie’s sweet spot was a tough way to open the game. The air was out of the stadium 3 batters in.

True, but Judge batted in the bottom of the first with a man on. That was the chance to change the game, the series, and his reputation. And he couldn't even make contact. That's what took the air out of the stadium and the team.

At what point do those fans start to turn on him? Have they started booing him yet? Cant be long if it hasn't happened yet.

Do you think that’s because he didn’t have enough “fight”? What does that even really mean when you are batting?

I'll wait until the Dodgers win the World Series before I'll dare say that the Yanks are done.

And the coach. Boone has had a horrible series.

I don't know if "fight" is the right word, but he is statistically far worse in the postseason, even against the same competition in most cases. Maybe the pressure gets to him a bit? Hard to pin point, but he's not been playing well to his standards in the postseason.

What happens to Soto is going to be one of the top off season stories!

I don't think he goes to the Dodgers, tho. Dodgers already have Ohtani (who by the way has stunk in this WS).

Agreed. Seems to be though it would be the opposite of not “fighting”. Seems it would be he cares possibly too much and it gets to him

Baseball is the one sport where going super Saiyan doesn't really help, probably breaks concentration more than anything else.
