All good things must come to an end, what has ended for you that you once enjoyed?

Such is life. Let's take out death of loved ones. That's an obvious thing.
Any good leagues you were in or friend group traditions die out that you long for it to start back?

hunting
and oddly, paintball. YouTube sent me down the rabbit hole and reminded me of high school days

Used to play a Saturday morning golf game every week. My golf handicap now is being married with kids.

Back when college football had at least something to do with the school, the state, and the local community/culture.

Hope.
You get to a certain point where you realize you are finally smart enough to accomplish life long goals but the window is closed and now the mission is raising a family and paying bills at your mindless 8-5 prison.

Try more like 1982. Go back and look at the rosters. 95% of the kids at LSU were from Louisiana. 95% of the kids at Alabama were from Alabama. No transfers, no sittting out for bowl games, even skipping senior year to go pro early wasn't even really a thing. Coaches salaries and facilities were extremely reasonable too.
The 80's/90's is when the business of college football went into the stratosphere thanks to cable TV revenues taking off and it just continued spiraling upwards ever since.

I’ll say food, specifically how food tasted when I was a kid. Everything tasted better back then.
I have no proof, but I feel like companies started chasing that bottom line a lot harder and the quality of the ingredients suffered. Nothing is as good as it once was. Even something simple like sliced bread is now super sweet and full of preservatives. I remember when bread used to get moldy after a week or so. Now it sits on the counter for a month and still looks like the day you bought it, albeit dry and hard.
Nothing gold can stay, I suppose.

Used to enjoy seeing a movie at the theater about once a month. There just aren’t that many decent movies to go see.
Likewise, once went to bed most nights watching the news and then late night entertainment. Haven’t watched any of those shows in years. It would be great to have something with basic, good natured humor like Johnny Carson again.
