Everybody is mad at the offense, but what about the defense?

All we had to do was to tackle their run-only QB (he's no dual-threat). We continually got faked out when he kept the ball over and over again. Blake really shite the bed on this one as it was a simple fix

Blake had absolutely no answer for the QB change. No preparation whatsoever which is not what we're paying his hefty salary for

I don't understand not preparing for the backup QB. There are many reasons why we lost this game - allowing the backup QB to run rings around us is right up there.

A simple fix to stop a one-dimensional offense is valid. All they could do was run, especially after they inserted the run-only QB. Spy Whit Weeks on the guy or try something. Damn, it was ugly

LSU lost 31-6 in the second half. Sounds to me the defense didn't play the second half.

Well the D had to start defending him from the 8 the 50 and the 25 and then again at like the 35
They only had one long drive they gave up.

Nuss threw 3 ints deep in our own half and we had a retard fg unit hand them the ball at the 45.
If you expected the d this year or any year to hold them to nothing with that then that’s a you problem.

They started going back to their "re acting" defense. Just a little hesitation at this level causes what you saw in the 2nd half.
Just like Nussmeier tries to be the hero on offense, some on defense do the same and don't do their job.

Yea you can’t hand them essentially 3 red zone opportunities and expect the d to just stop them.
