His flaws are rooted in lack of development/ coaching. Mainly, he needs footwork coaching…and he ain’t getting it.

His footwork is poor, but I’d rather see his decision making improve first. He gets set in certain throws.

I think his decision making will improve if his basic footwork was improved.

His dad is an NFL coach. Nuss is what he is.

Once the first pick was thrown, he lost all his training and resorted to bad habits. First half the announcers were gushing over his accuracy and release. Nuss got rattled and mentally lost it.

You really think he hasn’t been coached? Do you know who his Dad is? If I had to guess Nuss is just freakin stubborn. But more so, the problem is that the entire offense is on his back. He has no help at all.

While the offensive line protects him pretty well, they also have Nuss backing up A LOT this year with stupid penalties.

The offense has no running game.

The playbook has no running plays.

The field goal unit is just dumb.

And Brian Kelly, with 30+ years as a football coach just looks like a complete dumb arse in big games.

I don’t think it’s instructions that Nuss needs. I think it’s a complete football team, and no team is complete without a competent head coach.

The regression fits the mold. Happens everytime under a BK coached qb.

His biggest problem is that he lacks poise under pressure and forces throws. He needs to get comfortable running the ball, but he seems unwilling to do so. Anytime he takes a hit, he walks around as if he is hurt. He has a great arm and can make some great throws, but unless he changes he is one dimensional. You cannot win championships without being able to run the ball. In today's game, a mobile quarterback is a must.

I start with not throwing the ball to the other team.

Huge distinction. Daniel's was already game ready. Basically ignored Kelly. I'm talking about qbs who have no other frame of reference. Malik Zaire. Tommy Rees. Now Nuss. Dishone Kizer left before Kelly could ruin him. Happens everytime.
