CLASS OF 2025
VERBAL 7/17/2024
A July commitment to LSU over Oregon, Florida, Georgia and others, it was apparent that Miami would continue to push for the top-ranked Floridian and legacy recruit anyway. More than three months later, it has been the case and Pickett has already taken in a pair of Miami games this fall. This weekend will mark another, as the potential build-up towards a flip hits an apex just as the back-half of the college football season begins. There is nothing public about Pickett's position with LSU to suggest there is a major vulnerability with the status, but few consider the battle to be over.
Miami has become one of the specialists late in the recruiting cycle under Cristobal and in 2024 he has something to his name most in the flip game rely on to consistently create changes in college destination -- buzz. It's not just on the trail, but it's living and breathing on the field for The U for the first time in Cristobal's tenure. It means the top classes put together are producing on the field. For Pickett, that point will be stressed in addition to the family ties and typical messaging Cristobal's staff uses with the five-star recruit. LSU has home games during three of the four football weekends in November, including Nov. 30 just five days before National Signing Day on Dec. 4, so expect a rebuttal and potential visit to Brian Kelly's program before all is said and done.

Nobody expected Miami to stop recruiting Dj. Raymond built a relationship with Dj when he was coaching at Uf. PP played a role also. Dj said Nil isn't a big deal. Outside of money what can Miami offer Dj?

I guess the fact that they are gifted victories by officials even though they lose the game on the field?

The biggest news I've heard very recently is that he'll be at Bama and Okie games, which is in our favor.

The recruiting board is different from tRant.
You are supposed to think before you post here.

Dude, it’s fricking Miami. It’s one of the most popular cities in the country and everyone wants to move there.

DeathBy, I just posted a link for those who wish to read it. I didn't write it.
I post all of the time just like Captain and many others, and most all of them reference my LSU Tigers for all interested. Don't be an arse. Just don't read it or blame Rivals author if that's going to assuage your anger.

Uhhhhh no. I live in Florida and I know no one that is saying man we got to move to Miami and that includes teens and twenty somethings.

In all fairness Miami was, and still is one of the highest sought-after destinations for relocating. But, it's not for everyone, that's for sure. I used to go there all the time when my boat spent the winters in South Florida. Great times and great vibe. But now I live on the Gulf side and like it better (except when Ian or Milton visit lol)

I wasn’t being that serious my man.
The sentiment is similar to when people link GG articles… not saying rivals is never worth reading, I am just saying some of this stuff is clearly click fishing.
TLDR: Pickett & Underwood are not legitimate flip concerns.

Yes and those visits have BEEN locked in... Unless something drastic happens like him committing this weekend then I don't see it happening... He has always known his whole family would be at the U and still committed. Plus when Ward leaves they'll suck again hell the ACC refs already helped them win twice

Already clarified with OP. It’s not that serious.
I’d probably have been more tactful if the board wasn’t already flooded with articles about Underwood/Pickett flipping — No credible information to date to suggest Pickett nor Underwood are a legit flip risk.
So the idea is that it is appreciated when posters use discretion to avoid linking or citing clickbait.
