When Anderson Cooper Dies...

When Anderson Cooper retires or dies, I know it's my time is getting close. I've been watching this guy since I was 12. 30 plus years. He kicks the bucket? I'm ordering my casket and arranging my affairs
Saw him doing hurricane coverage, and I was like, "Don't you die."
I don't even particularly like the guy. He's just always been there telling me the news since I was TWELVE. The first person to explain the news to me when I started paying attention was him.
It was weird, but when I saw him the hurricane coverage, I blinked and realized that man has been on the tv every day for the last 34 years. He started on channel one when he was 23 and hasn't been off tv since. I don't know anything else like that to be honest. I guess the Simpsons.
I'm sure other generations have someone similar, but for GEN X and Elder Millenials...that dude is a constant.
Anderson Cooper and the Simpsons. Yep.

Why do you need a guy to "tell you the news"?
You can watch stuff first person and personal on Tigerdroppings and get the opinion of a thousand imbeciles.
And some of them will even give it you in rhyme.
The OP loves Anderson Cooper,
For the news he just thinks that he's super,
If he were to retire,
OP's life would be dire,
With his dreams of Andy up the pooper.

You got me. I dream of a threesome with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin.

I can never forgive his family for Andersonville.

Y'all know a hell of a lot more about this man than I do. I know he's a Vanderbilt and he's on TV. That's the limit of how much I care.

You are missing the point. He is a constant liar. He's not good for you, unless you like beta dudes.

We used to watch him on Channel One news back when we were in school in the 90’s

I don't give a shite about a news readers morality. I really don't care. His relative good:evil ratio does not affect me in any way. I don't care. I was saying he's just always been there since I was a child. It's one of those stupid realization that occasionally happen.
Bob Barker and Casey Kasem are dead. He's the only one I can think of that's been on air that long.

I am fan fricking tastic today. Gonna be a good one. I am just sitting here drinking my coffee and being amazed that a milquetoast new anchor has the ability to trigger this board. Didn't expect that when I posted something to the effect "Wow, this guy has been on tv every day for 35 years. That's kinda cool.
But you never know with the OT.

Same with Wolf Blitzer, except his schtick is looking like a foreign war correspondent.

You started a thread saluting his service at 2am on a school night bro.
