He went to Prairie Elementary with my oldest daughter, then again at Acadiana for a bit.

I am an Acadiana alum as well, but way back in 1980.

I graduated with Junius Dural way back then.

Remember that time at South Carolina after a run, Hawthorne said Alley Landry

cuts right...down the sideline for a 12 yard gain...and out of bounds..

I still wouldn't trade Jim for anybody, he absolutely called the game with the ups and down as a fan and bleeds purple and gold

I was at that game. If I recall correctly, it rained hard most of the day leading up to kickoff. I drank a good bit of whiskey in the stands and was treated to a historic performance by Broussard. Great times. The alternation between Randall and Russel at QB brought back some memories.

One of my all time favorite Tigers, definitely an underrated and often forgotten legend.

IMO, yet another reason to get along with Jim, if Ali was on his mind.

He ran hard with great vision, and it didn't hurt that the OL had NFL talent
