The Joy Is GONE!

A Harris campaign staffer reveals to Axios that their Sunbelt internal polling is so bad they’re recognizing the only viable path forward for Harris is winning both MI and PA; two states where she’s under water with key demographics.
The staffer noted that a sense of impending doom hangs heavily over the campaign in its final weeks, with a Trump return now feeling inevitable.
The joy is gone.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, prominent Michigan Democrats, including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, have made appeals to the Harris campaign to focus on the state more as the election draws to a close. They have also warned Harris to sharpen her economic messaging, the report notes, with fears spreading that Trump has done well to court the state’s working class voters.
Harris has struggled to distance herself from past positions that remain unpopular in the so-called "Blue Wall" states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, including her previous support for transitioning fully to zero-emissions vehicles by 2035 and a ban on fracking.
Those concerns were also highlighted by an internal poll shared with the Wall Street Journal that was conducted by Sen. Tammy Baldwin’s campaign that showed Harris down by three points in Wisconsin, another key Midwestern state with similar voting habits to Michigan.
Harris’ struggles have also extended to union members, a group that has long been a stronghold for Democrats in the state. However, an internal poll conducted by Teamsters, one of the country’s largest and most influential unions, found that members in Michigan preferred Trump (61.7%) over Harris (35.2%), while national union leaders declined to make an endorsement in this year’s presidential race, despite supporting President Biden’s campaign in 2020.
Harris also failed to gain the support of the International Association of Fire Fighters, which also supported Biden in 2020, though she did gain the support of both United Auto Workers and the Service Employees International Union.

Let Trump win. You may get your wish when she hangs herself.

Everyone can see what's going on.
Kamala was hidden in the basement until the polling numbers started looking bad, now they've sent her out on a media blitz.
And the more she talks the worse it gets

This is why Trump is campaigning in Coachella next week. He sees an opportunity to highlight Kamala's own failures in CA while drawing in voters from NV/AZ.

If somehow they aren't able to pull off the steal and Trump is rightfully seated on the throne again, I don't know if anyone can fathom how much overtime I will be working. My net income will easily double.

I would certainly welcome the sight of a bunch of joyless, screaming Progressives here in a few short weeks.

Democrats’ nerves are at an all-time high.
Two months ago — even a month ago — they were feeling bullish about Vice President Harris’s prospects of defeating former President Trump.
But now, with less than a month to go until Election Day, they’re increasingly worried about a number of issues plaguing the Democratic nominee’s campaign.
On Tuesday, there was grumbling from some Democrats about the vice president’s interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes.”
There’s also concern on everything from the static poll numbers in the race to the vice president’s messaging and even her standing with men — not just white men but Black and Hispanic men, too.
Democratic strategist Anthony Coley, who served in the Biden administration, acknowledged the trepidation, pointing to the stagnant poll numbers in the weeks following the Democratic National Convention, when Democrats were making comparisons between Harris’s campaign and former President Obama’s run in 2008.
“Now that the sugar high is gone, people have realized what Kamala Harris has said from the start, which is that she is the underdog,” Coley said. “This is going to be a fight. … These numbers are just so stubborn.”
The donor attributed the feeling to several things but mostly pointed to one major flaw: Harris’s economic message wasn’t resonating.
“And the economy is issues No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5,” the donor said.
“She is still fine-tuning her message 28 days out, and I’m sorry, we are in the ‘make the sale’ phase of the campaign now, we’re not still tweaking the message,” the strategist said.

DETROIT — Democrats are deploying prominent Black surrogates to Michigan to deliver an urgent plea: Black men, we need you.
It’s a concerted push, involving the likes of NBA hall-of-famer Magic Johnson, New York Attorney General Tish James, Democratic Party elder Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), Gen-Z Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) and actress Kerry Washington in Detroit, which is nearly 80 percent Black, and the surrounding area. And it’s the latest sign that the Kamala Harris campaign — and Democrats more broadly — see trouble on the horizon. Harris has built up a small advantage in Michigan, but soft turnout among Black voters could cause that lead to vanish in the face of a motivated Republican base.
Three dozen Black Detroiters, including strategists, activists, clergy, elected officials and likely voters, the vast majority of them men, told POLITICO about their concerns with the campaign’s outreach to Black voters. Some said their appeals come off as condescending. Others added that party officials and surrogates often question their intelligence if they inquire about how their lives will change under a Harris administration. Others lament the campaign hasn’t reached out to enough well-known grassroots organizations, who hear firsthand about the apathy from Black voters in marginalized neighborhoods like Belmont and Delray.

The real key to all of these article about the dems getting worried is that you are not hearing anything close to that being leaked about the Trump/Republican's side. There is currently a stark contrast to the "vibes" from both campaigns.

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee is sounding the alarm on a fundraising gap.
Democrats running for state legislative seats are warning that they need money, fast — or they could be doomed on Election Day.
In a memo first shared with POLITICO, the DLCC says its fundraising — less than four weeks out from Election Day — is still far short of its $60 million election budget.
The group says its partners in the states also need another $20 million for television advertising; $4 million for mailers; $2 million for texting and digital; and $200,000 for canvassing.
Without that money, the committee warns, wins at the federal level could still come with a slew of losses down-ballot. Its internal targeting demonstrates that Democratic legislative majorities could be at risk in competitive states that overlap with the presidential and congressional battleground map. That includes Michigan, Minnesota and Pennsylvania, where Democrats are looking to maintain their majorities. And states where Republicans are in control in both chambers could be out of reach: Arizona, New Hampshire and Wisconsin, where newly drawn maps are expected to give Democrats a boost.
“Our internal data suggests we may be on an eerily similar trajectory to the 2020 election outcomes — when Democrats narrowly won the White House and took full control of Congress, yet lost more than 100 Democratic legislative seats and two chamber majorities in the states,” the memo says.

Trump's first term coincided with the biggest jump in my financial, economic, and happiness position in my life. It's not a perfect 1 to 1 correlation, but my entire real working life until that point was under the Obama admin and man what a difference in attitudes and outlooks economically...

The more pressing issue is that this race is as close as it is in the first place.
Dems are proving time and time again that they are sheep and will do as they are told. No room for objection or outside the box thinking.

I think we see this playing out as she is back to her full commie roots. I’m not sure commie Kamala plays well with the rust belt

Absolutely. One campaign is methodically, continuously ratcheting up the heat and the other is hysterically flailing and screaming "he's a danger to democracy".
I am thankful these people are dumbfcks. That hasn't resonated since they started it. Just pisses people off and makes them more resolved to support the man.
