Crane is the problem. If he doesn’t change, all the things we discuss in this thread won’t matter.

But… I do enjoy shooting the shite with y’all so here’s my offseason plan.

1. Sign Bregs, Alonso, and Santander
2. Find a sucker to trade us the next Yordan for Pressly
3. Trade Tucker for a king’s ransom

Pretty straightforward

So if Alex is gone, who gets the bag of money he is leaving behind?

They gotta swing multiple deals here

I mean this is still a team that can contend for the next three or four years as a business model that they can sell enough tickets and ride the Gist the gush of money that is coming into that team there's a price that they will pay to get another three four years out of this

Cranes AI is way out ahead on this

we know what that number is

I don't think it includes what he can get on the market
NY teams, and California teams all willing to spend $$ right now
Bregmans brand is worth some considerable $$$ there's more than HEB out there,, Cmon the Jews $$$$ alone

They ain't meeting his price

Jose wants him back.

“I’m pretty confident that he’s going to be our third baseman next year,” Altuve said. “We have to have him. We’re not going to be the same organization without him. In my mind, there’s not a chance that this is the last game.”

Tucker is softer than baby shite and has no balls. It would be interesting to see what they could get for him. Is he under control for 1 or 2 years?

Also, we know Altuve’s OPS was his lowest in a long time. His BA was up though. All year it seemed like he was a bit off. Strange season for him.

One more year of club control. I couldn’t care less if it’s another club that has the control next year.

Resigning Bregman should be Brown's top priority. Fanbase will revolt. Nobody gives a shite about Tucker, trade him .

I get it and that's all gonna come down to arbitration on Tucker and what he represents as a player with an injury and how he's treated in consideration with the collective bargaining agreement and players Tucker is going to become a All-Star players in arbitration AND the league still hates us

The secret behind the scenes chatter from both sides on Tucker's arbitration is going to be you got to protect the player or you got to frick the Astros

They should also look to prevent the players’ periods synching up which caused the whole team to go into weeks of being able to perform basic fundamentals and duties of their jobs.
