Yes. Flying up Saturday. Group of 5 going. Ticket prices have been dropping daily so we're waiting to pull the trigger on the day of the game. We're pondering buying tickets to this "Chiefs Lot J Tailgaters" party. It has good reviews and the pictures look festive.

Yea I picked this over Green Bay in late December.

If anyone is wondering there is a bar by Lambeau called The Sardine Can with an AirBnB above it.

I went to Green Bay last season. On top of the world with a 17-0 lead at halftime and on suicide watch after the 18-17 loss. I did not make it to that bar.

Flying out of Miami on Saturday. I hope we have a good fan turn out to see the Chiefs get their first loss of the season.

I have a coworker (who is a really nice guy) from NOLA that moved up to mid-Missouri around the age of 15. HUGE Saints fan. We don't have a strict dress code in the office, so the dude wears a Saints hat/shirt at least once a week. I asked him today what he thought the score was gonna be for the Chiefs vs. Saints game, and his response was "51-0 Saints, your team sucks!".

We fly out Saturday morning. Staying downtown in the crossroads area. Sitting in section 130.

Doing KC Oktoberfest Saturday. We were suppose to play golf Sunday but I fricked my foot up today so guessing we will bar hop downtown for the NFL games. Tailgating with some chiefs friends in Red lot before the game.

WHY?

- I enjoy traveling.

- Arrowhead at night sounds like a fun atmosphere and it’s extremely rare for the Saints to be there for a night game.

- Looking forward to visiting a city I’ve never been to and embracing their culture. It’s also a city I will probably only ever visit once in my life and this is the perfect chance.

- My friends and I heard the same “WHY” question from negative losers when we went to Dallas 2 weeks ago and it was one of the most fun road trips of my life when we blew the Cowboys out.

Life is about experiences. There will always be negative people trying to get in the way of you enjoying it to the fullest. Don’t let them.

Good for you. Being at the Saints-Cowboys game is one of the greatest game experiences I have ever had. I have heard nothing but good things about Chiefs fans & their stadium. KC isn't Philly or Seattle with absolute inhospitable vermin for home fans & the way they treat visiting fans. Have a great time & let us know about your trip when you get back.

Look up the Chiefs Lot J Tailgating Crew on Facebook. They have a ton of great information on there. From what I can tell, there are a number of tailgate groups in lot J. This particular one is all free, but they do take donations and seem to be very hospitable. They posted their menu for the tailgate today and it all sounds great. My wife and I are going as a surprise for my 11 year old daughter who somehow became a huge Patrick Mahomes fan. She’s been talking about going to Arrowhead and there was no better game to go to than this. At least one of us will be leaving happy….

Chiefs Lot J Tailgating Group

This is the post with all the info for their event.

#5days

#fricktheSaints
This is a Tailgate you won’t want to miss!!

Two things to start, please be respectful and not go behind the tables where the food is being served as a lot of people are working and trying to get food out and we need as much room as possible. This area will be completely blocked off for this tailgate.
Second, I know we have a lot of former players and families of current players come by the tailgate, please be respectful of them and let them hang out like they are part of the crowd. We would like for them to come back and not be annoyed.

Please go to the event and let us know if you’re coming so we can make sure we have enough food!

LINK

Menu: A huge thank you to Blended Vibes Catering for preparing all the food!!
Smoked pulled pork sliders
Smoked wings
Brisket baked beans
Mac and cheese
Pedro and his Fried domination wings
Jeff Loecker will be back with his famous jalapeño poppers.

Drinks:
Go to the Jeeps and see Alex Stinnett and Lacy Stinnett for some Kingdom juice. Billy Shields and Kelsey Shields for pudding shots, Josh Fisher will have moonshine at the shot ski out as well.
El Bandido Yankee is back under their tent making Jim Bobarita’s, handing out shots and bringing all the good vibes with their A team promo group.

We will have 4 coolers of Garage Beer both regular and Lime, we will also have two Lime kegs tapped for everyone to try.
The garage beer tent will be right next to the Lot J trailer.

Entertainment: Josh Schmutz with Mid America RV will be there with the game day trailer. We will have a few different games for everyone to play, WolfPack Tailgating will be joining us, Chris White will be playing the music!!

Weather: I am seeing 75 and sunny with no chance of rain. Great day to tailgate.

Directions: we are on the back corner of lot J, look in the pin post and you will see a map of where we are. Gates will be opening at 2:30 it is vital to go into gate 6 to park by us, if you don’t go into gate 6 just make sure you get in any gate before 3 it is open parking for the first 30 minutes, you are able to drive wherever you want to park. After that they will send you in certain directions, at that time if you don’t go into gate 6 you will have to walk over to us!!
Understand that open park is 30 minutes after gates officially open if gates open early it will start from that time.

General info: Chris will announce when food is ready. Shortly after food line is done, go to the El Bandido tent and your tequila shot (DO NOT TAKE IT) Larry E Fennell Jr will be doing our lot J Jose shot!
Also please be respectful to everyone at the tailgate, no matter who they are cheering for we have never had to ask someone to leave and don’t want to start now.
Remember this is a marathon and not a race, drink responsibly to get in the game and cheer loud!!

If anyone has any questions at all you may ask on this page where most everyone can answer the majority of your questions, if not you are more then welcome to dm Josh Young, Joshua Wahba, Clarissa Morrow or myself.

Donations: We run this tailgate off of donations they are not mandatory but they really help recoup cost, all money raised at every tailgate goes right back into future tailgates. We do not profit off of the donations. If you don’t like bringing cash we do have a Venmo that you can donate to @chiefslotjtailgatecrew!! Thank you for your donations you have no idea how much it helps.

You can take the Saints fan out of Louisiana, but you can't take the delusion out of the Saints fan.

WELL said brother. Also the Saints only play in KC every 8 years. Who knows, Arrowhead could be torn down by then.

Couldn’t turn DOWN a beautiful October weekend at one of the last remaining historic NFL stadiums.

Safe travels to all heading out today.

I greatly regret canceling my trip at this point. Looked into rebooking and the three-way flight (Portland to KC, KC to Phoenix, Phoenix to Portland)I need went from $600 to over $1700.
