Leave it to Les Miles to make you angry after a win.

2 things can be true.

1) This was a hell of a ride and so much fun in the stands

2) Les Miles is an idiot at the end of a game and may be the worst end of a game coach of all time.

Tennessee, Ole Miss, Auburn, list goes on and on.

Derek Dooley trying to force the clock expiration by needlessly substituting is what cost Tennessee the game. Should have been one last play for the game. Instead we had to make the refs figure out the mess.

Fun fact. #8 TC McCartney is now the QB coach for the New England Patriots.

I believe that game triggered the refs in future games to stand over the ball and hold play after the offense subs. I remember the WVU fans booing the SEC refs like crazy in 2011 in Morgantown after WVU would sub and then want to quickly snap the ball and the ref would not get out of the way until LSU was set

Funniest thing about that sequence is on the last play the best thing Les came up with after a long timeout is a power toss to the left to get in the endzone by 6 inches.

Well, second funniest thing. Funniest thing was Dooley hustling his team off the field knowing they fricked up. As if them running to the locker room and loading the buses would have made the refs be like “well Tennessee’s gone guess their win stands” and ended the game despite the penalty.

And then next week in the Swamp was even crazier.

What a frustrating team.

11-2, with a couple of 1 TD losses to Auburn and a 10-win Arky. Because our QBs combined threw for more Ints than TDs on the year. Even after Jordan went nuclear (for him) in the bowl.

Absolutely LOADED defense. Basically all the 2011 guys (though some were still inexperienced), plus PP7, Nevis, and Sheppard.

Offensive talent outside the QBs wasn't too shabby either. If only we'd just started JLee and rode with him once Jordan started to struggle (with Jordan getting some packages). SMH.

Was that a game winning toss dive?

It wasn’t the play that was known as the toss dive. It was an old school off tackle power toss with two blockers in front.

Yea, Lee was shown to be such a good QB in tough, high pressure environments

This day should be taught in schools.

What was the play call LSU was trying to get in?

How about the forgotten 4th and 13 Jarrett Lee got to Landry? Always found it funny the yellow flag was thrown in the yellow end zone. You’ll never see a game like that in Tiger Stadium. Anytime LSU loses and you imagine “man just need 1 more play and they would’ve won”, I think of this game.

God bless LSU

I had paused the game and was behind real time when I saw T-Bob's hike over Jefferson's head. At that point my buddy called and asked "Well what did you think of the game and I replied with a bunch of f-bombs exclaiming what a stupid way to lose a game". He replied "I'll call you back and hung up on me."
