WFDT (9/29/24)

Everything about today kinda went sideways. Was gonna cook but my mother-in-law fell leaving church and ended up in the ER. She’s gonna be fine with a broken nose, some stitches, scrapes, cuts, bruises, a lot of soreness and a little bit of loss pride. Anyway, we ended up having Popeyes. Don’t have it often but it was fresh, hot, juicy, the chicken was really nice sized, of course they got the order wrong. Gave mashed potatoes instead of slaw but it was good and I ate too much. Did hit six miles on the treadmill today. :) Luckily the bar cooked for the games today so my bartender was fed.

Prayers to her. Popeyes is always a good substitute.

It’s ok man, I pushed my mother in law down for Taco Bell once. No judgement here.

Shrimp scampi with shallots,garlic cherry tomatoes and spinach with angel hair. I did good The shrimp weren't overcooked and the pasta was not mushy

Boiled Shrimp, mushrooms, potatos and baby carrots.
