Looking for a few options for lunch and dinner in Las Vegas. First I’m looking for a couple of great steakhouses to try, second some casual lunch spots, and lastly some cool bars or sports bars to hang out in. Bonus points for any rooftop bars! TIA

Beer Park is pretty good. Looks over the Bellagio fountains.
Decent prices for LV and lot of TVs.
F1 construction started though so view is not quite as good.

1. Lotus of Siam – Northern Thai dishes like garlic prawns and crispy duck.
2. Eat. – Brunch favorites like cinnamon biscuits and shrimp po’boys.
3. Golden Steer Steakhouse – Classic steaks with tableside Caesar salad.
4. Tacos El Gordo – Authentic tacos like adobada and carne asada.
5. The Peppermill – Iconic diner with comfort food.
6. Esther’s Kitchen – Modern Italian with homemade pastas.
7. Best Friend – Korean-Mexican fusion with street tacos and short rib.
8. Lamaii – Contemporary Thai cuisine with seafood and curries.

Agree. I’ve only been to LV twice. Both times pre F1. Last year the week before.
And last week.
They were well into it last week when the race is not until end of Nov.
So way more than 1/6 of the year it’s a mess.

Coffee crusted waygu NY Strip at Smith And Wollensky's (Venetian) is the best steak I have ever had. STK (Cosmopolitan) is very good too if you want a more modern setting
For lunch go to Guy Fieri's Flavortown and get the trashcan nachos. Fantastic food.

I was there a few weeks ago for the LSU game.
We had four excellent meals.
Piero’s
Old fashioned Las Vegas Italian restaurant that is popular with celebrities. Delicious osso bucco. Not on the strip but not far from the Venetian.
Spago at the Bellagio
Sit outside on the terrace overlooking the fountain.
Two restaurants in the Venetian where we stayed.
Milos, the Greek seafood restaurant was very good, as was Bouchon.

You can kill two birds with one stone at Herbs & Rye off strip. During Happy hour all steaks are half price.
They make great cocktails and it's a fun place.
It opens at 5:00 and there will be a line outside to get in for the coveted bar area seating, but the entire place will be jammed by 6:00pm.
Steak was good as were all the sides. Highly recommend for off-strip.
