I can’t get motivated to sit in a stand till it cools off more. From the lack of trail cam pics I’m getting this am, prob was a good decision to sleep in this morning.

Felt great this morning. Didn’t go hunting, had a decent buck on camera up until around 650am.
That’s the closest to a buck being on camera in the daylight since I’ve had the camera out the past month.

I would go today if I bow-hunted, I love the dreary kind of wet days because usually it's just me out there. 5 more weeks for me.

I went. No Mosquitos, but no deer either. Then sited in two rifles.

I went and shot a hog. Had it cleaned up by 8am. I did have the thermocell going so not sure how bad the skeeters really were.

Shot a doe with an unrestricted DMAP tag. Sounded like everybody around us had them and were filling them as well. Sounded like squirrel season in union county lol
