Do the Beatles all deserve to be in the Rock Hall of Fame as individuals?

The are obviously in there as a band (inducted in 1988), but they are also all in there as solo artists.
Do they all deserve it?
1. Paul was by far the most successful post-Beatles, both solo and with Wings. He had 11 number 1 hits with Wings or solo. He was inducted in 1999 and well deserved
2. John Lennon had an odd solo career. He put out 8 studio albums, and didn't have great commercial success. He only had two number 1 singles in the United States: Imagine and Whatever Gets You Through the Night. Both singles stayed just one week at #1. None of his singles ever reached #1 in England until his death. He was inducted in 1994. I will say deserved, but not a slam dunk.
3. George Harrison was prolific as a solo artist, mostly playing on other people's albums or producing. He did have three number 1 hits, second only to Paul. He also founded the Traveling Wilburys. I will say deserved, but also not a slam dunk.He was inducted in 2004.
4. Ring Starr, surprisingly has as many number 1 songs as John Lennon, with two. He was also a prolific artist, making lots of albums and playing on the songs of many other artists. He is not in the Rock Hall as a performer, but for "Musical Excellence" which is like an honorary title. Inducted in 2015. I would put him the same as Ringo and George.
So, really Paul is the only well deserved inductee. The others likely wouldn't get it without their prior Beatles membership.
ETA: But the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame has a bunch of really shitty artists in it, so in that respect, they all deserve it.
ETA: I love the Beatles, and I love them all as solo artists.

George deserved it more than John in my opinion, if we're going solely off what they did as artists after they broke up. Ringo got in because it honestly would have been shitty to leave him out by that point. It's idiotic that you can be inducted into a hall of fame more than once. It's the hall of "fame," you're either worthy or you're not. Just list the other accomplishments also.

As "individuals" or "solo artist"? For instance, does George's Travelling Willburys work count? According to HOF "standards" maybe all of them. I judge artists of their era on albums so Paul and John yes. As good as All Things Must Pass is, it is still just one great album where Paul and John had several. Also, Ringo's solo stuff is not impressive. He is an absoltely brilliiant and even underrated drummer that contributed a great deal on Beatels albums, but he is already in for that. As solo artists its: 1. Paul, 2. John, 3. George, 4. Ringo.

All but Ringo absolutely.

I agree with this.

as individuals?
So nah, scratch Paul, who BTW is by far my least favorite.

I think your analysis is excellent. The only minor point/ exception is I think George Harrison is a slam dunk.

Wings were just Paul’s backing band.

Wings had 6 number one songs, only 1 less than John, George and Ringo had combined.
They probably deserve to be inducted as well, but never will because they are really just Paul’s solo project.

Not really. Denny Laine was the John Lennon of Wings.
Eta: really the John Lennon + George Harrison

Denny Laine died broke and had to have a GoFundMe to pay his medical bills.
Paul McCartney is a billionaire.
Laine was just a paid backing band member and not a stakeholder in the band.

That’s nice but he was co lead singer, co lead songwriter, lead guitarist and founding member.

Obviously there were other people in the band. But it was inherently a Paul McCartney vehicle.

Paul McCartney also had a solo career with a backing band. This was a band, of which Denny Laine was a highly contributing member

The band’s official name was Paul McCartney and Wings.
Not Wings. So ….

No, go on. So what? That proves Laine wasn’t a contributing songwriter or lead guitarist? Or that he didn’t tour with the other Wings members while McCartney was gone? Or that him leaving in 1981 wasn’t the end of Wings?
