This will be the worst women's team we've seen in years. A 30+ point blowout on national tv is likely.

No. I hear the game is about to be canceled for that reason.

They must not have gotten the memo. They're playing pretty gritty and up right now but still very early.

Your name fits you perfectly because you smoking something. This team is very young and has only one vet. They are sticking with this UConn team. If you don't care about the girl b-ball go smoke you something and stay out of it.

If they're playing the UConn men, no.
If they're playing the UConn women, yes.

The Lady Tigers, playing mostly freshmen, stayed with and even led, the #1 team in the country for most of this game. In the end they lost by 12 points. AT CONNECTICUT. It was a tremendous game for Van and the ladies.

Yeah, I don't usually watch women's basketball outside of LSU making the Final Four, but I was impressed. LSU could have actually had a good lead in the mid-2nd half had they not missed so many open 4-6 foot shots.

If a tree falls and nobody's in the forest, will it make a sound?

I know I'm posting after the fact, but they did well to get that close. LSU this year is rebuilding even more than football did this season.

They aren't terrible, but they are not elite. The streak of consecutive Final Four appearances ends now.

It is a shame van chancellor didnt have that team a couple of years ago. with that roster, he wouldve won at least one title.

Say what you will but the Lady Tigers played an excellent game yesterday.

Well JustSmokin was just a little bit off his predication.
A very competitive game throughout and maybe just the building block a young team needed to believe they can compete with some of the nation's best teams. They certainly won't play anyone better in the SEC this year. The key will be whether they can come close to playing like they did on Saturday and sustain that in conference play.
