That is just wrong. Grew up in BR, went to catholic, and he's an Alabama fan?

Yes

His dad was a huge Bama fan, and he’s named after Major Ogilvie.

Goes to Texas, coached at Alabama under Saban but was fired.

I believe he has or had some family ties to the Bama area even though he grew up and went to Catholic

I know his family had season tickets to Alabama games. As a matter of fact, while he was playing at Texas, me and some friends used his parents tickets for the LSU-Bama game when Davey and Reed went crazy. We were on the 50 yard line, great seats.

There's no way.

Do they draw 20,000 at home games?

Maybe not before but with them winning and a big game for them in Baton Rouge it wouldn’t surprise me if they had 20k. Most going to Academy to buy gear before the game.

Yeah. I was about to say "Does South Alabama have 20k fans period? Let alone those who might travel to a road game

Mike Scarborough was on the radio yesterday telling the story about Applewhite’s recruiting visit to LSU. He was undersized and didn’t have an offer but he was invited to attend a recruiting weekend for the LSU - Alabama game. The recruits were sitting next to the student section. Applewhite was obnoxiously cheering for Alabama so Dinardo had him escorted out.
Screw him.
