His 2 tackles a game will be very hard to replace.

Loss of Harold is huge but I think that our defensive staff will figure out how to keep making us play well

The defense played better without him in. Sucks to see him get injured but the defense will be fine.

While it sucks, it does not destroy our chances.
Perkins is tied for 4th in tackles (17), but has (0) sacks and (0) passes defended. I would argue that losing Swinson, at this point, would be worse.
Is it ideal, no...is it an absolute back breaker, no.

It sucks. But I’m also excited to see if someone steps up.
It’s also completely possible that someone comes in and fits the role better.
I just feel like they were constantly trying to figure out how to get him in spots to make plays and it wasn’t working often.

I feel for him, and I hope for a speedy recovery….but I’m sorry, the defense truly won’t miss him. Who knows, maybe he comes back next year and they find what’s right for him. He’s a great athlete.

Man. That sucks. But in no way that kills our chances for a playoff spot.

But idk how much it’ll negatively impact the team, because before the season BK said Perkins was beginning to “elevate the players around him” and I personally haven’t seen that at all this season.
This will probably allow a player more suited for the position to get in the game.
Also, they should take the 7 jersey and put it in a closet. I can’t even remember the last time we had a player in the 7 jersey that actually played like a 7.

I think that would be on the offensive side of the ball, personally.
The only thing he’s ever done exceptionally is run a player down.. so maybe he’d be best suited running FROM players.

There was zero chance this team was going to make the playoffs. We are an average team with or without Perkins.
