IMHO this resonates greatly with today's Americans. Americans today are not detail-oriented analysts. We, as a people, want our leaders to make us FEEL good about ourselves and our future. That's what Harris preaches. She's the spiritual leader of a Movement. She speaks like a preacher or pastor, giving a sermon.
There won't be any hard analytical aspect of her rhetoric. She knows that the American people are too stupid to receive that.
She is providing the "food" that she knows that the American people are ready to "eat" - and, it is Junk Food.
Who loves Junk Food more than the 21st Century American?
