Has Herbstreit reported him as GONE? If not, can't be reliable.

The next professional training camp he sees will be his first. Where do people get this nonsense? Haven't they learned with Holtz, Carroll, Saban and Spurrier that success at one level does not guarantee success at another?

ESPN just reported Broncos have serious interest in Stoops. From Bob Stoops statement, it does seem that he has some interest as well. He doesn't deny anything.

His ego is of NFL size proportions so yeah, it's definitly in the realm of possibility.

Next will be Saban to Oklahoma. Might as well get it out of the way now.

Soonerfan.com has nothing on it. I think I'll believe this one when I see it.

As we've seen recently, this is the best policy.

Fire Shannahan for Stoops

That's a very dumb move IMO

Bowlen has a 17 million IOU Shanahan might collect on.

I see him hiring a NFL coordinator vs a college high priced name like Stoops.

So is his desire to leverage any outside contacts for another pay raise from the Sooners....

sounds plausible..

I mean really, what are the Broncos going to do fire Shannahan and then go hire an assistant no one has ever heard of???? Not hardly.

A stoops deal may have been in the works from the get go - but I'd put my money on Cowher.
