It is really clear that despite the Panthers being bad at every level, Young isn't an NFL QB right now. He is total and complete arse.

“He won’t be as bad as Jamarcus Russell”

Had to. Not only has he been bad but it looked like he completely lost confidence in himself in the game yesterday.

Even Russell was given 25 games before being benched.

And JR had a marginally better first full season than Young before the wheels come off in year 2.

Dude has to scramble even with good protection because he is too short to see his wide receivers down field.

I think he made some comments after the game that basically indicated his confidence is completely gone.

They've got to pull him so he's not completely broken I guess

I believe a change of scenery could be good for Bryce, maybe as a project QB for someone. It just feels too early to completely give up on this young man.

His numbers are worse than Jamarcus's.

Bryce Young is the biggest bust of all time.

Like I said in another thread, we are finding out what the physical minimum requirements for NFL QB are, with Young.

Instead of winning 1 game this year the panthers might now win 1 game

Jamarcus didn't even look at the playbook
Bryce Young is trying and still looks absolutely dreadful, that might be worse

I recall Jamarcus leading a game-winning drive against the Texans in like 2008. It was the Texans, but it was the beginning of their constant 8-8, 9-7. 7-9 phase, so it was an average team, at least.

And was constantly fricked up on lean.

And before all the Bama fans get in here, Oakland was just as dysfunctional and crazy as Carolina is now. That's how "biggest bust in history" stories are made. It takes a village to raise a bust that big.

The pride of Katy Tx…

As far as Young, he never ever should have been the top pick and immediately starting. He always needed to sit for a couple of years and learn and develop.

So not only was he not ready and not the kind of player who can get better simply by playing, but he ended up in a dumpster fire if a franchise.

Tepper has quickly become the worst owner in the NFL and o e of the worst in professional sports.

He'll get a chance to back up but I don't know what's there to work with. The eyeopening issue beyond his play is, how is your confidence shot by week 2 of yr 2 with a new coach?

There’s getting benched and then there’s getting benched for Andy Dalton. Jesus
