When do we start to see actual numbers from early voting?

I do not know all of the early voting start dates across the States, but when do they start to report on these? Or do they at all usually?
If they are bad for Trump, do we see them immediately?
If they’re bad for Harris, do they even bother reporting?

IIRC, you might see vote totals by mode and even party registration, but they typically don't report outcomes until polls close on Election Day and then sometime there after (longer than it should be IMO).

We'll be seeing numbers into 2025

I'm pretty sure it is illegal to report official vote counts before polls in a state closes.

Not until Harris starts losing...

Results aren't tabulated and released until election day with in-person voting counts.
Responses, however, are released in many states. Such as:
- how many are coming in, raw count
- if party affiliation is on the envelope, raw count from each party.
The envelopes are not supposed to even be opened until polls open on Nov. 5th. However this is one of the areas that cheating has occurred- the open them early, especially if party affiliation is on the envelope, so they have a head start on the votes needed. Typically this is only done in select counties that can tip a state's results so it is hard to find. You have to monitor almost every county to find it. If you do find a way to monitor county A they move it to county B. That's why chain of custody is so important. BUT, historically judges will not reject ballots they find opened prior to counting start because that is considered voter suppression.

Won't matter. It's the late voting that matters.
The "late" votes counted between when people go to sleep election night and wake up the next morning!

I can post daily from my small town but it's mostly Republican voters. Early voting in CT starts on 10/21.

It’s redundant that you can vote this early before even all debates are finished.
What if damaging info is released about a candidate but you already voted for that candidate?

There were several instances of piles of Republican labeled envelopes being thrown in the trash by postal workers.
IMO party affiliation shouldn’t be shown. If you’re a republican I suggest just voting on ED

Came here to say exactly the same as the 1st response to this post.

In Florida you can see early votes and votes received by mail in real time. They only share how many votes have been casted and the party affiliation of the voter. They don’t reveal who received the votes until after the polls close. You can make some guesses based on party affiliation but in the district I vote in most early votes come from independent voters.

The bigger issue is that 7,000+ people die everyday in the US. Statistics imply that most of them are of voting age.
A lot of accusations about dead people having voted in 2020 were people who died after they voted. I would suggest that if you were alive when you voted your vote should count. Even though that’s an unpopular opinion amongst most republicans.

If R either (like you said) vote on election day at the polls. Or...
And I think this is better because they assume the vast majority of mail in votes are for Dims and if the party affiliation is on the envelope then if an R, check D on the envelope.
A) they are more likely to open it when they are supposed to and because the envelopes and vote totals are supposed to match, makes it much harder for them to throw away the actual ballot once they realize it voted a R ticket.
B) This is the best one... if all R's check D on their envelope those numbers will be shown in the media. And when the mail in votes are so overwhelmingly checked D and they start bragging about it in the media, the actual D turnout on election day will be lessened because they will assume they have it in the bag.

or here is a suggestion....in person voting the day of.

The problem with that is I have about 30 republican voting family members that can’t vote in person on Election Day.
