Panthers have to bench Young right?

At this point, wouldn’t they want to explore the bench? Has been atrocious

They gave up DJ Moore, 2 firsts and 2 seconds for him. They can’t bench him yet.

They've already given up on him. Leaving him out there just lets everyone else see what they already know so that when they move on it won't be a media event about how he didn't get a fair shot.

One of the all time worst trade decisions that has set their franchise back a decade

A Bama QB I wouldn't mind seeing succeed because I think he's one of the most likable guys in the NFL so of course he sucks

What a disaster. Worse than Mac Jones.
Dont draft Alabama QBs.

they have also gone through a few head coaches in Tepper's not so long tenure as owner.
what are the executives telling him? Are they just agreeing with everything he says?
How can so many decisions be shitty?

Isn’t the Red Rocket “the bench”? I mean, do they really need to explore with him? They should know what they have there

A dude that can see over lineman, something they don't have now.
They have Caleb, Jayden, and Bo Nix in October. If Bryce is still playing like shite and looks worse than all of them I can't see how he survives that.

Good news for him is that Bo Nix will make Bryce look serviceable.

Probably not gonna be a game tape they send to the hall of fame

I understand what you’re saying. In my opinion, I don’t see the staff needing to “explore” what they have as a backup because they know what they have in Andy Dalton. Guess what, he’s not that much better. We’ve already seen that movie with a better Saints team. This is a bad all around team and going to Dalton isn’t going to fix that now or for their long term future. Dalton is there to come in 1-3 games in case of emergency, not to be a long term starter

He's older, so maybe he just fell off a cliff this offseason but in his one start last year he threw for 350 and 2 TDs.

They should start seeing that Bryce isn't either.

Bryce sucks but with all they gave up for him they have to just hope he improves within the next 2 seasons.
Sam darnold has sucked everywhere he went but now he has to start and did pretty well today.
Too many people think qbs either have it or don't, but we've seen guys like Goff, Darnold, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts improve when given years to improve.
Hell look at the saints fans shitting on Derek Carr last year and what he is doing this year.
Quarterback is still reliant on everything they are surrounded by and Bryce doesn't have a lot of good things around him.
I do think he sucks tho

That’s my point, he’s good for one or two starts.

Absolutely. But there’s no one behind him that gives you any reason it think, “we have to see what else we have long term”. They don’t have a Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler. They should let the season play out, then make a move next season. They should have the #1 pick again.
ETA: I’m not defending his play, he is absolutely hot garbage. I’m talking about the position they put themselves in and what makes sense in my opinion

Those dudes had tools to work with. What does Bryce do good?

Bryce Young
I hope it gets better for him. Great kid from a great family. I just hope he gets support from his teammates and ownership. He can still turn it around

Agree 100% Same thing with that Hawaiian retard that’s keeps getting brain injuries. That college is cursed 100%. All the titles for the souls of blacks people makes me sick

Why are you shitting on Dalton? Yes he's a known commodity that doesn't need to e explored. So that angle makes sense, but "he's not much better" is just not true and definitely not the reason he isn't playing
