Cigar Suggestions

I want to get cigars as a gift for a family member. I don’t know what they smoke but I don’t think they are what officianatos would consider “special” if that makes sense.
Something nice but not crazy - medium bodied. Something that you might only smoke on special occasions.
Thanks.

I’ve never smoked a bad Padron.

Find a Cuban or buy one that you watch get hand rolled, he would appreciate that. if those don't work go talk to some at a cigar shop. Can't go wrong with Auturo Fuente, Monte Cristo, Cohiba, Partagas, or Punch

I smoke cigars daily and love Padrons. Get a natural and not a maduro if he doesn’t smoke often. Maduros are heavier. They range anywhere from $8-$40 for a typical cigar shop selection.

Padron, Perdomo, & Ashton.
Can’t go wrong with those.

Arturo Fuente
I would ask for 8-5-8s. These are not the most expensive they make, but it’s a pleasant smoke.

I’m very simple and cheap. Also a rookie. But I usually always go back to AJ Fernandez New World (red ribbon)

Just about anything from Drew Estate, especially the Deadwood label…

These are all good recommendations (though you can get pricey with Cohiba).
I'm also going to add 5 Vegas Classic, Joya De Nicaragua, and my personal favorite, La Gloria Cubana (especially Serie R).
