It was way too long. One large coke later and I was in pain waiting for it to be over and could hardly walk to the bathroom.

I refused to go see it, and stayed home and baby sat while the rest of the family went.
I tried to read the book, and couldn't get past the first few pages. The author is a pussy, that does his dog and family a HUGE disservice by not properly training his dog. I hate people like that.

Hey no one mentioned it; but Kathleen Turner has a 'cameo' of sorts as a dog trainer.
HOLY CRAP. I knew she was in the movie but still wasn't prepared when she showed up. If you remember her from "body heat" then you might just want to close your eyes during this whole scene so you don't ruin your memory.
