Recently purchased a cheap one for the cigars I got for my 50th bday.

Question is do I leave the cigars in the wrapper in the humidor or take off the wrapper?

Got a variety of Rocky Patels & Arturo Fuentes.

I personally take the wrappers off, & I add water to element weekly.

I take them off. The only ones I leave on are if two different types touch. At max capacity I may have 60 in there and they might have to rest against each other. Don’t want the flavors blending.

You need to season your humidor if you already haven’t. How to season your humidor

I don't see what's so funny about cigars.

Man the Rocky Patel I had last weekend with some Henry McKenna bourbon was excellent.

I don’t smoke them too often, hence the need for a humidor. Do enjoy it though.

The wrappers are cellophane, not plastic. They allow moisture through.

You are much better off putting your cigars in a Tupperware with a 62% Boveda pack. That cheap humidor will never get right no matter what you do.

Don’t mix any flavored cigars with regular ones.

Leave them in the wrapper. Use Boveda packs. I also have a Govee hygrometer in my humidor (Tupperware) that connects Bluetooth and tracks all the data. Not just the single point when you check it. I forget to check it all the time and can confirm there weren't any issues between checks.

I do woodworking and have built humidors for other people that I was very proud of how they turn out. However, I still use a cheap plastic tub with some Spanish cedar trays and Boveda packs. It just works too well.

I do the same thing. Love the Govee hygrometer.

Get a Bovida humidor bag and put the 69 pack in it.

Leave them the way they came from the manufacturer. I have a number of very nice humidors, and I have tupperware, and I even have zip bags. Don't overthink this.
