Because Trump loves to mispronounce it. It was a power move. Walked over to Trump's side, where he tried to hide behind his podium. Then says her name very clearly and forcefully. He came off looking like a poor sport, i.e., a total fricking bitch.

It was well known that Harris and Trump had never met in person before the debate last night.. so i knew exactly why she introduced herself that way, but I couldn’t tell what Trump said in response .
