Kaleb Jackson has the most carries on the team but has by far the lowest average YPC. Like 2.5 YPC. That summarizes BK very well.

Kaleb has no cutting ability and can't manuever to the outside if the middle is clogged, which it always is. He just takes every handoff and goes straight into the middle of the pile for a couple yards making no attempt to bounce it outside.

I am 110% all in on JuJuan Johnson being RB 80% of the time. We absolutely need speed and cutting ability at RB. Our middle OL can't clear the middle. JuJuan is the perfect solution as he can take that handoff, see it's clogged, and cut outside the Tackles better than anyone else in the backfield can.

LSU has become way too focused on strength and size at RB when that isn't working. Speed. Speed is always better than Strength at skill positions.

I guess Durham has no speed and can’t cut either. Both run 10 something in 100. Must be something else - hmmmmmm. Guggenheim can’t cut either with no speed yet ran for 145 with 60 yard run with FCS lineman vs SEC defense.

So you want the guy who didn’t get a single carry this weekend to be the feature back now?

It’s really concerning how Kaleb has actually got worse.

All this based on the zero carries he got in his first game at LSU? Jesus.

Hard to know - like Fournette running into Bama defense and getting hit before LOS. They can’t even get going.

Just because you’re in the SEC doesn’t make you an SEC defense.

What a dumbass take. You want the guy that just moved to running back and hasn't run a play to get 80% of the carries. Then you assume you know what the LSU coaches focus on in terms of strength and speed. Just because a thought pops in your head doesn't mean you need to post it.

So we are Sun Belt now? You are in SEC, thus SEC defense.

I wonder if he could play linebacker. Not this year because we are low on rbs.....but if he wants to play at the next level, rb probably isn't it for him.

yeah, LSU D is very low on talent, and that is entirely on BK in his third year.

These are the same geniuses that wanted the backup QB over JD5.

Ironic because I think you're the dumbass for wanting 2.0 yards per carry to continue. Ju'Juan Johnson had 14,000 yards+ in HS. I know prob at least 6,000 were rushing if I had to guess. It is not that difficult to carry a ball, and he obviously knows how to do it.

Yes, I would rather take a chance on a dynamic player than have 2.4 ypc. There's 0 shot he's worse than 2.4 ypc.

Dumbass.

Backfield has a severe lack of speed and cutting ability. We need speed much more than power at RB right now.

Y

So Johnston should be our starter at RB because? What do you know that our head coach, our OC, and our RB coach doesn't know? I forgot what is your coaching duties with our team?

Leonard Fournette can't run against a 7 or 8 man front. When someone dares any gunslinger like Nuss to throw you don't waste too many plays running. YEAH YEAH YEAH it's Nicholls but they are one of the better FCS teams and we got their best effort.

Our run game will produce when someone decides to play to stop the pass.

What's lacking is your basic football acumen. Speed scmead means shite when you are trying to run against ANY 8 man front. In your view maybe he we should pass every down against 6 or 7 deep.

Our run game will produce when the defense gives us the opportunity

Bingo

Years ago Coach Miles stubbornly liked to run the ball, control the clock, limit turnovers, played the game to let the run set up play action passing.

The game evolved to what it is now with 4 and 5 WR's, RPO and wide open offenses that attack the entire field.

The first two games both opposing defenses stacked the box with at least 7-8 players daring LSU to let Nuss throw hoping to force turn overs.

The 2nd half of USC game Kelly took the bait, LSU simply outclassed Nichols.
