2024 Rankings
After 2 games, one being Nicholls our defensive ranking is 91st. Thought coaching was our sole problem last year?

Doesn’t make sense, since they only gave up 295 total yards last night. I don’t know what they were ranked last week though.

Our defense played well against USC last week. Huge improvement. Got lazy last night against Nicholls. frick it.

Correct...our defense got stressed by stalled drives against USC.

A bunch of teams, like Ole Miss and Missouri for example, have played 2 cream puffs.
Its going to take longer than two weeks to get a real beating on where teams rank.

That's irrelevant this early in the season.

I’ll reserve full judgement for a few more games. However, outside of one long busted QB run, and a busted coverage on a trick play, we looked okay last night playing mostly vanilla. We also looked decent vs USC. I think what we’ve seen so far from the defense is “encouraging” at worst. There are definite signs of improvement over last year.

Well, we finished 108th in total D last year, so that's a 17-spot improvement after two games. Coaching was awful last year. At least we looked halfway decent against what is normally a very good offense in USC. We looked like shite in the first half last night, but I don't expect the same intensity against much lesser opponents. It happens. They have things to fix though.

We were 108th last year - I was told House was mean to players and sucked and Baker was players coach and they loved him. IDK.

Look up the term “sample size”

We played Nicholls with an average OL of 6’2 285lbs with a white TB - surely you jest?

You act like we played USC and Ole Miss - we would be 200th.

Don’t come here with facts. The BK lovers will get upset.

Coaching still is the problem. The head coach.
