You can’t make this up, it can only be achieved by a combination of poor, unimaginative play calling, poor run blocking, and pussy arse backs not hitting the hole with a little steam and vision, especially Jackson, 9 Carrie’s for 19 yards.

poor, unimaginative play calling,

I legitimately do not what else they can call, there were pop passes, jet sweeps, read options, tosses to the long and short side, counters, draws, and dives tonight. None of it was especially successful, the line isn't opening the holes and when they do, the backs are not hitting them especially well.

The run game has been really bad under BK his entire 3 years here so it's not too surprising. If it wasn't for Daniels LSU would have very little run game. They had to respect his ability so it actually opened up the RBs a bit. Logan was the only one who showed he had some steam on his runs. Jackson had some moments last year but this year he looks stiff, slow, and a complete lack of confidence due to the small holes. I personally think Jackson struggles with vision so if he doesn't have holes you can drive a car through he doesn't show confidence in his running so he looks slow/stiff.

That one run where it looked like Jackson just tippy toed to the line looking scared to death to get hit was a pathetic image I don’t think I’ll ever forget about him.

At some point it’s just on the players

Kelly is a clown. These are real numbers and we are in trouble if things don’t improve.

What is BK doing wrong in regards to the run game?

Everything looks lethargic in terms of the run game. The line doesn't seem to have any desire to block. The TEs & WRs don't seem to want to hit anyone & the backs look like they are running in quick sand.

64 yards vs a terrible team is what he is doing wrong.

At this point, we are going to have to pass to set up the run. In my mind, that means leaving the tight ends split out because they are contributing little to nothing in the blocking game, they're just attracting more potential tacklers and clogging the box by being there.

#79 has no business wearing an LSU uniform much less starting here. More personnel idiocy from captain Kelly

Forcing the run, cost us the USC game. Kelly coming out at half said he wanted to run, and even against their stacked front, we kept running…… and boy were they happy……

Oh ok, I thought you might have an idea as to why we only ran for 64 yards.

They are a great pass blocking team but they have no push.

All I know is lineman from Nichols who were half the size of ours were pancaking our Oline all night on almost every designed run up the middle.

Yeah, not pushing around a FCS team...that's not going to put the fear in any SEC opponent.

17 of the 64 yards came from QB scrambles

That is the most damning LSU stat I’ve seen in a while. Shocking. Surpasses some of our hideous defensive stats last year in terms of nauseating.
