Based on what I saw….and heard:

Problems:

1) undisciplined play, too many silly penalties

2) middle OL is very overrated; no holes for RBs and pushed back by NSU’s DL

3) For as good as Nuss is, he still stares down his primary & throws off his back foot WAY TOO MUCH

4) we seem to have no STUD RB, that can make his own plays, if the GCG can’t open holes ——- which they cannot*( have personal player feedback from 2 NSU defenders after the game) they were very pleased to hold LSU to well under 100…. And said many times they were cussing each other bc of the bad DL play. Guggenheim reminded me of JHester out there!

5) this coaching staff is doing HPerkins a disservice the way they are playing him; he needs to be like he played his Fr year

6) the weakness we knew we had (DL) looked bad against lowly NSU; terrible stopping the inside gaps, and no sacks

Can we please stop with this? It's a consistently dumb take.

Right. It was Houses fault and now it is Bakers fault. When is it Perkins fault?

Yep. Either we are concerned about backer depth or he basically tied their hands to play him inside.

I don’t know exactly how they should use him, but he isn’t a great inside linebacker.

He doesn’t have a position other than a box safety. He’s way too small to be an every down rusher like the majority of the board wants him to be. He’s also too small to be a MLB lie he apparently wants to be. He’s best position would be a box safety similar to how Jamal Adams was used here

I’ve heard enough of that shite. Perk wants to stand out? Then stand the frick out. He’s not hungry enough.

^ This.

Very little impact on defense tonight.
3 tackles. That’s it. Not a good sign at MLB when they ran as much as they did.

Maybe one they put him back in his natural position and he doesn’t succeed? Then we can talk

Perkins isn’t good. He made a couple plays as a freshman before snybody knew who he was. Now he’s just an average safety out there trying to play lb. He’s a non factor

He doesn't have a natural position, that's the entire problem

The LSU defense allowed that High Motor European American Caucasian running back to carry his Lunch Pail right through them for 145 yards on 25 carries.

How many times can it be said that Perkins is playing where he and his camp want him to play.
