Packer fans can thank Roger Goodell for this injury and Brazil soccer shite turf.

So did Goodell get someone injured by having them travel across the world to play on some crap grass?

Looked like his ankle got rolled under. Plus dealing with cramping all night.

Love's left lower leg was injured in the final 10 secs of the ballgame. The field was absolute dogshit the entire night. Footing was like ice.

Now Love has to get in a place and fly 10 hrs back tk Philly because they all want to GTFO of Brazil and get US medical scans to know for sure.

Would really cause a ton of blowback due to the turf. J Love NEVER looked comfortable out there.

That said, it definitely seemed more like an ankle

Luckily for Love, the contract he just signed in July specifies,

quote:

Love gets $100.8M guaranteed at the time of signing, which ranks ninth highest in the NFL despite having the new highest signing bonus in NFL history of $75M and matching the highest overall contract value of $55M/year

None of the corners looked comfortable in man coverage.

I watched the tackle that led to the injury. Shouldn't that have been a penalty or illegal tackle below (an upright) QB's legs?

I'm curious how / why the field was so bad and so different from what they would play on here in the US.

Looks like the turf course at Gulfstream. Can obviously see divots.

Yeah it's pretty obvious that the worst thing that could've happened is he tore his ACL.

You don't need to be a doctor to figure that out

Doesn't look like a turf injury to me. Just rolled on.

If you watch the slo-mo video of the play, you can definitely see something pop in his knee.

Being a know-it-all on tigerdroppings has led some of y’all to believe that you can diagnose injuries from your couch with ZERO medical experience

That’s absolutely insane when you try to unpack it

That specific injury would have happened on any field. That specific injury would arguably be less likely to happen or be less severe on a soft natural field than on artificial turf.
