Sheeeesh did we buy in this off-season. Dude looked slow af and just going through the motions last night. Pretty bad when a 5th year guy coming off of a torn ACL outshines you.

I guess all that extra weight that this board has been applauding was bad weight. He was molasses slow. No vision . No burst . Nada. Even his best run he looked like he was running in slo-mo

Lmao I suggested nearly 240 was too much but all these dumb cubt wannabe geniuses on the board immediately started crying like petulant children like I had insulted their mother

Put a fullback in front of him and run outside zone and he gets 3 TDs. Don’t blame the player for the coaches misusing him.

That’s not happening, but they could at least run him out of the pistol with a lead TE. They had 2 or 3 pistol sets last night.

The guy had little to no running room all game. Our OL was playing in OUR backfield and so many times our RBs were trying to get around OL to get back to LOS or get a few yds. Take away Emery's long run (and he no doubt gave us a boost last night), and he was just like the rest at about 3 yds a carry. Our OL failed these guys big time last night.

Say what you want about Emory being 5th year and busted up but know in terms of talent and recruiting he was more hockey regarded than any RB on our roster. Yeah he had his problems and injuries, but you can tell he knows this is his last chance by the way he played and his facial expressions last night. Dude balled for us and finally looked like what we all thought he could be. If he keeps it together and continues playing hard he’s better than any RB we have and it would be foolish to not get him more carries.

The coaches took away Jackson’s speed. This is the 2nd new problem that they created for themselves this offseason. The first being the inability to call plays.

The offensive line opened two decent holes the entire game. Other than that they got stone walled on every run. Hard to show your speed when you get hit as soon as you make it to the line of scrimmage

Um, Les Miles isn't walking through the door as an offense analyst to give his tips on FB usage.

Jackson is a power back. He is not a read option back where he stands flatfooted until the QB gives him the ball. QB needs to under center and hand off the ball with him running. Also Nuss is not going run so no need to run a read option. The are not fooling anyone.

The way they were running him was pitiful... late handoffs, nothing to give him the few feet to get his mojo goin! Pitiful Playcalling
