Assuming they have some marketable skills?
I don't; in fact, at my job, we can't find qualified workers.

Give us a job description and what the salary is. Don't lie.

I wouldn’t think changing the grease in the fry basket would be that difficult.

May just need to train someone you feel is "unqualified". Sure within a week or 2 you will know if they will catch on.

You would be surprised at how many Liberal Arts degrees that are walking around with NO SKILLs out there .

Yep , in Monroe. Very sharp, hard worker. Female. Goes “by the book” and doesn’t deviate. No degree. One of my past favorite employees. Would do great in busy office setting with set guidelines. Wouldn’t have to be an office, just an example.

What is the job? Where is it? What's the pay?

Everything is so specialized these days. Nobody wants to train anyone anymore

There are millions of Americans not working but they could be, many are on disability, some are laying around in mama's basement, others are well versed in the entitlements scam, sucking on that government teat, and there are others who are working 2-3 part time jobs trying to get by.

Yes two of my good friends. They were in the office side of construction. Company went bankrupt and they can’t find a position to what they worked for 6 years.
Actively trying to find a job but no one will come close to what they were making.

Your increase in starting threads tells everyone you're shitting your pants that when Trump wins you worry your free shite will be cut off.

In the past 18 months, I've laid off more people than I have had to in the previous 20 years combined.
In 2019 I couldn't find anyone. But that quickly changed post covid.

Just complete shitbags that can't fill out an application or a drug screen. Even then, there is work in the oil fields.
Any dipshit can go to work here at $20/hour starting right out of high school and be up near $30 or more within a year or so if they'll show up, do their job and be willing to learn additional skills other than "assembler 1". Aerojet/L3 Harris, Lockhead, General Dynamics, Raytheon and more are and have been ramping up big time. All the overtime you can handle, full benefits with good insurance and ability to move up as high as your talent can take you within the companies and they'll pay you to go get trained.

What field you in. Construction has slowed here. The refineries, chemical plants, and defense contractors are all hiring.

I evicted a tenant 2 months ago with 20 years of IT experience.
Poor guy couldn’t find something.
