I remember flipping my shite when I saw Joe Burrow change a play at the line of scrimmage on the opening drive against Miami. I was so used to the entire team looking over to the sideline for the play call

This is exactly what I was thinking. Loosen them up a bit, then just pound it the next 60 yards on 6-8 runs and announce and establish our physical dominance. Hitting Hilton for a 50 yard bomb would be exciting, but nothing would be as demoralizing so early as if we just ran it right up their arse from the 1st drive.
