Hi Ya'll first time poster. I have a unique request...
My son plays Tuba in the TGBFTL, this is his Sophomore year. His name is:
Alexander Hilton Weeks

I would love to get an on field in uniform pic with Zy Alexander, Chris Hilton Jr, one of the Weeks brothers and my son!

Does anyone have a contact or idea how to help make this happen?

This seems specialized and promotional. Assuming the players would even want to do it, you’d likely have to do it through something NIL-related to make it worth their while

How about AH Weeks in the middle with Wes and Whit on each side?

Contact the Football Office to arrange for the photo........

I have had field passes for games in TS to shoot photos, but no longer have the connections I had then. If you just want something with them on the field, though, I would suggest inquiring with the football office about taking your son in uniform to a practice session in the stadium, if any, and perhaps offer a token gift for the players unless you know them.

If that doesn't work and you want an on field shot of your son in band uniform during a game from on field.....you would likely be successful employing the "ESPN Great Imposter and Me" method. Do like Barry Bremen and crash the Band Alumni game dressed in Band Alumni gear. When the Alumni Band takes the field for halftime simply walk in with them. The credentials are not checked for several hundred people dressed alike, and the "uniform" has for years been a gold polo and khakis and gold cap. If you want to look authentic carry an instrument. But you could probably get as good a shot from the sideline or end zone if he is close to you. I shot this from my seat on the East sideline, not even with one of my better cameras and the image is highly cropped from the original.

You could ask them to sit on the bench in that order and take a pic. They have done “Small White Cox” so why not

You speak to the band director. A photo like that is great for promotional materials.

That sousaphone line photo is from maybe 4-5 years ago, so your son should not be in it. I don't know if I will make any games this year but intend to try. I'm sure you know to go to the Greek theater for pics before they head to the stadium. I think you would have to work with the football people to get the players you want on board. I appreciate your creative idea, though.

I read this whole page before I realized why the hell you wanted those specific players.

Theres a little known fact that anyone can stand at the fence in the sw corner of Tiger Stadium up until kickoff.
We've done it plenty times and got plenty pics of players and band members who are usually happy to pose for a picture if they're close by and you're quick about it.

It may be difficult to get them all over there at once but you could try and do this yourself before every home game.

I took these pics before kickoff Vs Florida last year and our seats are in 414. And no I wasn't blocking anyone's view.

Great news for your son and you! I did the same thing at trumpet 52 years ago and played in Tiger Band for four years. It was the highlight of my college experience.

OP, here is another image from that game, and I can see on the data that it was in November 2021, so three years ago.

I offer this image with the idea that your son could get all the members of the Sousaphone section sign the photo (and himself), and even provide copies to each to do the same, which would cost you a few bucks to print. A fine-tip Sharpie permanent marker works well on photos, and I think comes in colors other than black if you want to look for something (like gold/yellow, white or gray) that might show up better on this photo. Just print a 4x6 for 40 cents to test the markers. This image is cropped square and I suggest best printed as a 16"x16". You can presently buy this 20x20 frame at Walmart for $25.49 matted for a 16x16 image. Tip: print the 16x16 with a white border added, since the frame/mat openings are smaller than advertised. You should be able to right click on this image, open in a new tab, and save it in 3000x3000 resolution.

You have my permission to use this photo for your personal purposes, but not for any commercial purpose. If I make it to a game this Fall I will look for your son by the Greek theater and maybe get a couple Golden Girls to snuggle up to him for a photo. I did that for the 16 year old brother of the gorgeous redhead I brought to this game and he was in heaven.
