Day 3 is about to get started at 5:30 CST. They still have not released an official speaker schedule yet so I will update this as soon as they do. In the meantime the big speakers tonight are of course Tampon Tim Walz, Bill Clinton, Pete Buttigieg, and Nancy Pelosi. Will they run as behind schedule as they have the first two nights? We'll see.
I'll be watching the Polymarket odds since Kamala has dropped each of the first two nights and am hoping it happens again. ETA: At the start of the night Kamala is at 47.1 (this is mainly for my memory)
ETA2: Still waiting for the time schedule but here is the official speaker list per OMLandshark.
ETA3: Finally got the actual schedule of speeches.

Is she surging the polls as a result yet
Posted on 8/21/24 at 5:31 pm to Jrv2damac
No polls have included any of the DNC yet but her betting odds have dropped from around 58 to 47.1 on polymarket.

Ol' Bill Clinton must be looking around wondering what the Democrat party has become. But he'll gladly play the game for a paycheck and some notoriety
There's no way he's gotten more leftist as he's aged, so he will be simply playing a part. Bill Clinton of the 90s would be viewed as right wing these days

I wonder how bad Bill will look. He looks like death now so how much makeup will they cake on him?

Probably repulsed at the selection of tail available

Official list of speakers tonight:
Seriously, who beside Kamala is left for tomorrow? Maybe Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer? Are they saving Harry Sisson and Jeffrey Marsh (who should never be left alone in a room together) for tomorrow?

For a party that always say you need to keep religion out of politics they sure do like mixing their religion with partisan politics.

Thanks, I have been refreshing the NBC Chicago website that has done a great job at listing the entire schedule but they haven't yet. I'm going to add this to the OP.

Is every male DNC official gay?

is ANYONE speaking at this cluster that isn't some elected blow hard, or part of some government affiliated, tax spending affiliation?
The RNC had the gold star families and actual successful business owners that I can remember at the moment. At least some representation outside of politics.
This line up looks like a who's who from the government teet.

Tonight's theme is "A fight for our freedoms" how much do you all want to bet that abortion is all they talk about?

Oh no this woman had to pay to travel to another state in order to murder an unborn child.
And as if the doctors in Texas and Idaho who refused to provide life-saving care was anything but a political statement.

Almost no one supports a 100% abortion ban. The 3 exceptions are virtually universally supported by even pro-life supporters.

For a campaign that is all about "joy" every speaker is extremely angry.

So much joy. Their attempt to paint the RNC as dark after claiming all they did about Trump and his voters is beyond laughable.

Right back at you.
We do not agree politically but I will always believe that it's important to listen to the other side and having your beliefs challenged.

It costs two tanks of gas to drive from any major city in Texas to Las Cruces, NM where you can kill your innocent unborn child at just about any stage of the pregnancy. RT flights on SWA from DAL to Albuquerque cost less than $200.
If it means that much to you, isn’t that worth it? You’re telling me most women can’t afford that?

These videos of "regular" Americans, and the RNC had the same issue, are so bad. Is it that difficult to practice your 4 lines of dialogue so that you sound natural?
