Just dawned on me that we have not hosted college game day since BK took over as HC.

Perhaps this season it will happen? Thinking Ole Miss if both teams are undefeated has a good chance of being the game. Maybe Bama or even Oklahoma.

Say what you want about the show now but it’s still a big deal and it brings national attention to campus. Plus it’s obvious that the hosts of the show really love getting down to BR for the different vibe and food that it presents.

Possible, but I expect it won’t be Ole Miss unless there is a FOX vs ESPN thing.

Ohio State @ Oregon should be a top 3 match up.

Now beat Ole Miss, I think they should come for LSU/Bama. Going against UGA/Ole Miss that same weekend, but I would think LSU/Bama is a classic matchup

Forgot about Oregon Ohio State. Very low chance they choose Ole Miss LSU over that. Unless Oregon and or Ohio State stumble early and it’s not a big game like we think.

LSU Bama would be a top 10 matchup easily if both are undefeated by then. Ole Miss would have a loss by then too in this scenario.

Georgia is gonna dog walk Ole Miss again.

No way gameday is missing Texas and Texas A&M thanksgiving weekend
so oklahoma is out

I think Ole Miss LSU will be the best chance and I think SEC nation will be a lock for that game

it all depends on lots of factors....

But I agree with this.

I forget about them, but OU vs UT is 10/12 weekend too. First time in SEC.

I think we should see SEC Nation in BR a couple times this year

If the OU game is a big one for playoffs it has a chance. If both teams come in with 2 losses.

And I’m sure having Saban on the Gameday set now, will increase the chances of them coming for the Bama game.

Don't let the crying and moaning of a few morons here make you think it's the majority opinion. Growing up I didn't watch cartoons on Saturday morning, I watched game day. It's still the first thing I turn on to this day. It's hard to beat a cool fall morning with coffee and GameDay on to get ready for the day.

Nostalgia alone still carries it a long way for most people. But the days of Chris, Lee, and Kirk giving us educated insight into the world of CFB are long gone.
From a content standpoint it’s nearly unwatchable now

It is tougher to watch, but the students love their presence on campus - hopefully each gets a chance to experience during their 4 or 5 year stay at LSU

I mean it’s mainly Lee Corso. I feel so bad for him up there every Saturday. He’s the face of College Gameday but he should’ve retired at least 5 to 6 years ago.

Well if you were a freshman in 2020 this is your last season to get a chance. 4 full years wideout an appearance in BR is just insane.

I would expect either LSU vs Ole Miss or LSU Bama to get College Gameday but I also wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get it just because of all the different matchups this year.

We strike up the blackstone about 9am. Beer loaded in fridge and family, friends and myself are watching GameDay with football all day with the LSU game as the culminating event. A nice cool fall day can't be topped on a college football Saturday.

The problem is that on the weekends of LSU's biggest games, there are huge matchups elsewhere.

Let's predict Gameday:

Week 0 - FSU vs GA Tech in Dublin
Week 1 - Notre Dame @ A&M
Week 2 - Texas @ Michigan
Week 3 - Alabama @ Wisconsin
Week 4 - Tennessee @ Oklahoma (LSU vs UCLA)
Week 5 - Georgia @ Alabama

Gets tougher to predict now because will be based upon performance of schools in 1st 5 weeks.

Week 6 - Clemson @ FSU / Iowa @ OSU
Week 7 - OSU @ Oregon (LSU vs Ole Miss)
Week 8 - Georgia @ Texas
Week 9 - OU @ Ole Miss / Kansas @ KSU / FSU @ Miami
Week 10 - OSU @ PSU
Week 11 - FSU @ Notre Dame (LSU vs Bama)
