We all remember 2016-17 season with Les Miles getting fired and just overall a disappointing year. It felt like we got throttled that season, when in reality we were really close to going undefeated/1-loss. Every single loss that season (aside from Alabama) they had the ability to get the game winning score and couldn’t execute.

Needed an FG while in Wisconsin’s territory - Harris makes horrible INT
Game-winner called back vs. Auburn because of clock management
At the goaline down 6 against Florida and got stuffed 4 times.
Even the Alabama game was tied until Jalen Hurts scored while our entire D-line was being held.

We seriously had the personnel to compete with the Gumps year in and out, but once again a prime example of how Les managed to misuse incredible talent.

Yeah I know it’s all in the past. This is mostly a product of me watching highlights from past seasons because I’m ready for the season to start.

Guice went the wrong way on the last one.

The 2007 team could have had the same record or worse than the 2016 team. The ball just doesn’t always bounce your way.

Les didn't throw the interception against Wisconsin, Brandon Harris did.

Les didn't cause the snap to be a second late at Auburn.

Les wasn't the coach but they win the Florida game if Guice runs the right way.

Yeah it was really just highlighting how close those games were even with Les having the most traditional, predictable offenses even when everyone else was willing to change. We played like Iowa but had 5 star running backs and receivers.

Ed o about tanked the program and we just fielded one of the worst defenses I’ve seen.

Things could have been shite after saban left, but they weren’t. Be grateful and hope we can push to make the playoffs this year.

Les Miles had built another juggernaut roster even with Joe piss ant Alleva undermining him at every opportunity in 2016. Brandon Harris had looked terrific in the spring and in fall camp.

Harris proved to be a practice player that couldnt make it happen when the lights came on and they ran into a very good Wisconsin team in Green Bay.

LSU scored the winning TD at Auburn and how that game ended was sickening, Ethan Pocic and the entire offense was ready to execute and the ball was snapped when the referee gave the ok. Both teams and the refs played that last snap full throttle and Etling made the throw.

Coach Miles wouldnt have lost to a 2 TD dog Florida in Tiger Stadium.

Several high draft picks came back to play for Les and a championship that season.

That 2016 team with CLM and Etling wouldve been favored against anyone not in the top 2-3 on a neutral field at season's end.

That can be an exercise in frustration. I’m scratching the same itch playing NCAA 25, but if the Tigahs lose there, it’s on me. At least this provides a measure of control for those who think they know something about the game.

I was at this game screaming “Thank God Orgeron won’t get the job”! So many boomers wanted Ed 0 even after that pathetic loss

Les 'promised' to change the offense after '15. We were all excited to see it on the field at the shrine (Lambeau). And poof. Same ol' Les pound and punt offense we were accustomed to. There are no excuses.

For all that Les did so well as a HC he made us play with one hand behind our backs.

I really feel like Malachi Dupre could have won the Biletnikoff award with a more offensive minded coach.

I don’t think we win that championship without Joe Brady regardless of who the head coach was.

That 16 team was a stacked roster. Could have easily been a playoff team if the offense could have been slightly better.
