How has this thread not been started yet? The board is slacking

Season starts this weekend, lets hear what everyone thinks for top 4 and relegation. Feel free to post any other bold predictions/thoughts you may have

1 Arsenal
2 City
3 Liverpool
4 Newcastle

I think Arsenal finally gets it done this year if they can stay healthy. I think Liverpool will have a slow start and struggle the first month or 2 under the new manager but as long as its not a complete disaster I think they will still be able to finish 3rd as they should hopefully get better as the season goes although if they have some bad injury luck there are some clear holes in depth. Not making any signings is a massive WTF

My bold prediction is Newcastle as the surprise team similar to 2 years ago. No Europe will help them tremendously. West Ham low key had a great summer so wouldn't be surprised to see them do well.

No idea what to expect from United and Chelsea. United had a great summer bringing in some new players but I don't rate Ten Hag so still think they finish outside top 4

As for relegation, I'm going with the boring prediction that all 3 newly promoted teams get sent back down

1. Arsenal
2. Liverpool
3. Spurs
4. Villa
5. Chelsea

City will take some point reductions from the 15 year long investigation finally, knocking them out of the top of the table even though they'll probably lead in points without it.
ETA: shite I forgot about Spurs haha
Relegated:
18. Southampton
19. Forest
20. Ipswich

but in reality:

City
Liverpool
Arsenal
Tottenham

Arsenal stayed so healthy last season minus Partey and Jesus. That's not happening again.

If Arsenal have injury issues then City will run away with it by April

Liverpool are not going to be able to hang with Arsenal and City like they did last year unless 1) The team gels under Slot pretty quickly which seems unlikely considering the starting 11 played 1 preseason game with him and 2) We make some transfers during the winter window which also seems unlikely considering how we haven't really done shite the last few windows besides Gakpo and Gravenberch

And so it begins…. Partey more injury prone with his age. If he goes down Rice moves back to the 6 and they start scoring fewer goals. Let’s see how it plays out,

Pretty sure they’d just run a double pivot with Jorginho

The real problem would be if Saka and/or Havertz go down

Bumpity bump.

Honestly, no terrible takes in this thread outside of Spurs/United finishing top 4, and Forest getting relegated.

And they both did for 3 months each. Brutal season with injuries this year. 5 or 6 regulars requiring surgery
