America's Energy Industry is in great position

I hear a lot of incessant whining from the ignorant about how we need to unleash American energy as if that already isn't happening. On the LNG front our LNG exports are booming and there are several current and future projects in the pipeline
The bulk of this industry benefits the red states of Louisiana and Texas as is clearly seen by this map
On the crude oil side we're the number one producer in the world for the 6th straight year
US leads global oil production for 6th straight year
And we've only increased output since that chart
US oil output reached new record in August
Trump is full of shite. Go figure.
Big investments have also been made in renewables over the years
And before you all start crying I'm not crediting Biden for any of this
This goes all the way back to the Bush administration moving forward
Stop bitching

quote:
U.S. oil producers pumped record high levels of crude last week, according to government data released Wednesday, extending the upswing in output that has made the United States the biggest oil and gas producer in history.
The new record contrasts with claims made by GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has sought to cast the Biden administration’s policies as calamitous for the oil and gas industry. Trump has claimed that President Joe Biden has undermined the energy achievements made during his term in office.
Trump is full of shite. Go figure.

Preliminary data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed oil companies pumped an average of 13.4 million barrels a day from U.S. oil fields during the week ended Aug. 2, surpassing the previous record of 13.3 million the industry has hit several times this year.
Big investments have also been made in renewables over the years

Good luck with this. The idiots on this board just want to bitch and moan about America and how the country is in shambles.
They love being miserable.
They love being miserable.

Most O&G projects aren't very quick - especially talking about LNG plants or deep water platforms - the benefits we're seeing now are from work that was started 5-10 years ago. Biden's policies are hurting the next round of projects.

So you're crediting Obama and Trump and blaming Biden?

Should be even more. Trump also said that Biden administration had started easing regulations because of the election, but its still not enough.

Sure
But that's a private sector issue

The only question is if you were dumb enough to fall for it

And yet energy prices have gone up, which drive up all other costs, and Democrats are openly hostile to fossil fuels. But, keep defending them and pretending like this situation isn't a problem...

When you have the POTUS and the VP on record as saying they want to shut down coal, and all fossil fuels completely, I believe them. Why are they full of shite too?

Four years ago we were energy independent and sending far less money for oil to goat raping nations that hate us, and our SPR was at 90%+ capacity.
Get back to that, and loosen some federal regulations on industries that already overregulate themselves, and I'll quit complaining.

We still are and have been for some time.

Most of our oil imports are from Canada and Mexico and we are still a net exporter

The SPR is barely worth caring about when you're a net exporter of oil
It's just something you like to bitch about for the sake of bitching

Because they're politicians and they're full of shite?
Coal will be eventually shut down completely as a fuel source and when it happens no one that knows anything about anything will give a shite.

"Energy" is a global commodity. If there were no sanctions on Russian O&G and we did not have cuck foreign policy to OPEC we could benefit from lower energy prices domestically.

Oil is fine.
Nat gas needs major help, the admin halting new LNG permits was not good. That's a direct impact.

No shite
That's why we're exporting our excesses

Yeah. It's almost like countries just placed sanctions on them for no reason. They were just minding their own business and the world decided to be assholes and pick on poor little Russia.

If America's energy is in such a great position right now, then why are we having record high energy costs, record level inflation consumer product prices, record government debt?
If our energy was in a great position we would have low consumer prices, a booming economy, and a declining national debt.
