All three were great SEC QB’s that won the Heisman. In order to win the trophy, you obviously have to have the stats but also have an x-factor about you.

All three performed great. However, I think Tebow tied up the x-factor after he gave this speech (LINK ) and then delivered.

Disclaimer: I am LSU through and through, but I just watched a Tebow show on Netflix.

I think you’ve been hitting too much of the ganja my friend. Tebow is third best of that bunch.

If you combine Tebow’s best two seasons at UF, you would have as many yards and TD’s as Burrow had in ‘19.

Tebow was once the greatest but he has since been passed over by many. there was no one like him then. Scam Newton and Burrow were far superior. JD is great but never really had a chance to prove any clutch ability.

Tebow was also the product of Mullen. Mullen played a huge role in his success. it's hard to take your argument serious considering Tebow had one memorable NFL game. one. Joe Burrow led the worst franchise and Oline to the Super Bowl. do you not understand that's an unbelievable accomplishment? you put peak Tebow on that team and they don't win 5 games, much less a playoff game.

For CFB:

Burrow - Generational
Tebow - Generational
Daniels - Who else was going to get it?

Daniels had the best passing efficiency numbers of all time, ahead of even burrow in many metrics. He also damn near led the sec in rushing. What are you talking about.

If anything dak was a tebow clone and shows what mullen can create when given that combo of qb/ athlete. Cam was more freakish then tebow, and made it look like those kids who aren't allowed to play with their own age in youth sports.

Burrow is the goat bc of how he bent over uga, ou, and clemson on top of his regular season. Only thing JD didn't get to prove.

Tebow was a monster. JD and Burrow are leagues above him. I like Tebow. But he wasn’t close. For reference, Chris Leak won a title in the hot run that Florida had, and he wasn’t good.

Tebow was a hell of a college qb, there is no denying that. It did not translate to the NFL. Burrow was a hell of a college and NFL QB. Daniels had a hell of a year in college, and it remains to be seen what he will do in the NFL. The NFL is an entirely different animal, and if you have any weaknesses, they will be exploited. Most running qbs don't last long in the NFL due to weaknesses being exposed. If you are smart (can read a defense and quickly go through progressions), and have a good accurate arm, you can make it in the NFL. This is why non mobile qbs such as Peyton and Tom lasted so long despite lack of mobility. Burrow has it, and I honestly believe Nuss will also be a really good NFL QB. I know Daniels had a good drive, but when the real season starts it is an entirely different ballgame out there. We will see on him, and I hope he can do well.

If you were going to put together a team to win a championship today who would you pick of the 3 as your quarterback?

For me it would be a hard choice between JD and Burrow. Burrow was an incredible quarterback but JD’s running ability set him apart.

Tebow would be a very very distant third.

He had a good year. It helped that the SEC, for the first time in a long time, had a lot of absolute dogs playing (Florida/Auburn/Ark/State/A&M) so it was the perfect storm for Daniels. Florida State was not a pretty game for him in the second half. Alabama was not great either, and I know the targeting thing. OM we had two or three chances late to put it away, and didn't. I'm not sure, but outside of Fl St and Bama, not sure we played a team with a top 50 defense.

Exactly many forget that there were 2 other contenders that should have had it, but both screwed themselves out of it.

Nobody mentioned Cam, but yeah he was more dominant than everyone listed not named Burrow.

Burrow didn't need a speech. He beat up the linebacker in practice and won tractor tire tug of war.
