METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden visited the City of New Orleans on Tuesday, Aug. 14 to discuss the latest in their cancer-fighting initiative, Cancer Moonshot.
The president and first lady toured medical facilities, then, at Tulane University, announced $150 million in awards from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health. The funds will support eight teams of researchers around the country working on ways to help surgeons more successfully remove tumors for people facing cancer.
... NOW , that is $150 mill split 8 different ways ???
... like almost $23 mill each???
SURE ...
not even enough to fund a good microscope ...

That could fund some of these labs for a good five to six years. More than likely its a 5 year grant with option to renew in 5 years to continue the research. Most of those microscopes only cost about 250k a piece.

Surprise announcement at the DNC. He’s getting back in the race and replacing Kamala with Teedy. He came down to NOLA to ask her in person.

At least Teedy is an actual black woman.

Biden said he wanted to revisit his roots.
He said he was a crayfish fisherman when he was 18.

Biden's handlers thought, "Where could we find a politician so stupid and incompetent that Biden would look smart and capable in comparison?"
Easy answer: Latoya Cantrell.

Ashley Biden's first run-in with the law took place in September 1999 when she was a student at Louisiana's Tulane University. According to court records obtained by Page Six, Ashley got arrested for possession of marijuana. She got released on bond, and the case got dropped.

quote:I got almost exactly screwed by this. First, I was trying to kill some time by showing some teen relatives the Tulane and Loyola campuses. Well, no can do. There were A BILLION white SUVs around the entire perimeter keeping traffic out. So, I decided it was time to take said teens to catch their flight at MSY...and Googled on the drive to find out that Corn Pop was in town. Get to MSY in time to see AF1 (pretty cool), BUT blockades were starting to be put up for the motorcade. Ended up screwing up a lot of people's timing on everything.
