Not a single normal person, who buys groceries, gas, pays utility bills, buys clothes, etc... believes that inflation has "cooled" nor that it is anywhere close to 2.9%.

Real world inflation, is 40-50%.

So what does that do for double food prices, double electric bills, double rent costs, double mortgage costs etc etc etc

Tell em BugAC

They can call it what they want but the voters are still feeling the pinch and the economy is still a kitchen table issue [or it traditionally was and hopefully will be, but I’m convinced that many would prefer identity politics over the economy].

But see it really doesn’t matter if inflation “drops “ to 0. The price of every item you purchase will never come down again. The economy rolls on and normal people fight to keep up.

It means they only went up 2.9%
Now that they've already doubled

Inflation could drop to .5%, doesn't matter, the damage of +25% inflation the past 2 years is done.....the rat bastards stole your money by increasing prices across the board a minimum of 25-30%.

If I refinance it blows up my mortgage double.

Current rates are double my rate.
