Anti-Israel voters pledge to vote against Harris if their demand isn’t met: ‘This is all we have’
The integrity of Democrats’ battleground “blue wall” appeared at risk over one key demand from unrelenting Hamas sympathizers.
After seemingly holding sway over the final outcome of the veepstakes for Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee still looked to be contending with the whims of the prominent anti-Israel sentiments permeating the left.
“This is our leverage,” said Philadelphia social worker Hannah Zellman to The Washington Post as the Jewish voter joined others in pledging against voting for Harris if a ceasefire isn’t reached in Gaza before the election.
“This is all we have,” added her friend, child-care provider Leah Shepperd as demands also included a commitment to an arms embargo on Israel rather than support of the ongoing counteroffensive prompted by the Oct. 7 terror attack. “I do want to vote. But ethically, I’m stuck.”
As arguments were presented that the protest against Harris over Israel would ultimately benefit former President Donald Trump, Zellman contended, “What’s really helping Trump is that the administration is not listening to the voters who support a cease-fire.”

The Dems have an issue between their Muslims and Jewish voters and they also have an issue that more and more black voters are being affected by their illegals.
The right needs to keep pushing these issues and drive the wedge into the lefts tent

We need to just sit back and let the left eat itself on this, every now and then just poking the bear by Trump and Vance asking reporters why they think Harris won't take a firm stance on the Israel/Gaza conflict.

Trump and Vance both have done good work on highlighting how illegals are negatively impacting black people. Texas should be sending illegals into all swing states major cities and to Martha’s Vineyard

Democrat here:
Speaking for myself, I dont care about the pro-gaza wing of the party. young people are an unreliable demographic (i was when i was younger), and they make up a large segment of these protestors.
those that care about gaza, and the party, know that the best way to affect change is to have a seat at the table. but i guess they can keep coming to Harris events and cementing her stance on the issue.

It's actually a huge argumentative difference in the party - proving that there's a pretty big divide between traditional Dems and the progressive arm of them.
The interesting part though is that it will not affect them in anyway. The Dems all vote in complete and total lockstep. They're a little different from Republicans, who are mostly all complete fricking idiots and can't get their heads out of their asses.

What’s good for Israel can be bad for Jews outside of Israel.

quote:I see it differently. On the right of center you actually have people that will still critically think and come up with their own opinions regardless of sticking to the established party line. That's where you find the disagreements. While it can be a pain during campaign season, I actually think it's a strength of the party. It shows we aren't just some hivemind monolith and actually live by our ideals of allowing the market of free ideas to determine the path forward.
