Anyone have any experience with Tri Star, Girsan, CZ, Encore and Rock Island? Wanting to buy a Girsan and reviews seem to be great but curious if anyone has experience with any of these manufacturers.

What are you buying it for? Duck hunt 60 mornings a year? Self defense?
CZ or Tristar may get you a decent gun if you are putting it in the elements

Got a good friend that bought his wife a Tristar 20 gauge for turkey hunting. He loves that thing and totes it himself almost as much as he does a 12 G.
For the money a cheap arse old Mossberg is hard to beat. Beat the hell out of them and they still work.

I have an old Mossberg 88 that I bought in college, that I still use from time to time despite have way more expensive guns.
It’s killed deer, ducks, squirrels, rabbits, doves, and probably some other game.

that's a pump.
i just recently bought a used Mossberg 930 that's a semi-auto. haven't shot it, yet. it's the tactical version so i guess it's a self-defense gun. the current/more recent version is the 940.

A Winchester sx4 can be had for $900. There's no better value than that IMO.

A300 Ultima from Bass Pro. $625 after rebate right now.

Just looked at that nice price. The reviews had a bunch of unhappy shooters saying it has cycling issues. Any personal experience?

I had the A300 outlander. Wasn't a fan. Had cycling issues if I didn't clean it after every hunt. It also didn't fit me well
I use a stoeger m2000 now. Had to replace the firing pin after about 10 years, but other than that no issues.

Got my oldest a viper v2 in 12ga. It's a really good gun. I have no reservations about buying Turkish guns and and ammo.

I've the older Outlander for several years and it's been great. About to purchase the turkey version of the Ultima in 20 gauge - at full price unfortunately.

A friend of mine just bough an ATA CY Super Magnum 3-1/2” from Academy for less than $500, it’s really nice looking and handles well, it’s shot everything we’ve tried in it down to 1 oz, 1200 fps shells.
He also picked up the ATA CY for his son for about $420 after taxes, it’s the same gun Weatherby used to sell as the Weatherby SA-08, very light, swings easy and shoots good but does have a shorter length of pull than other guns I’ve shot.
After seeing his guns I did a good bit of research on them and I’m gonna try the ATA Neo X, it’s the same gun as the Weatherby Element but about $200-250 less expensive and I know 2 guys that love the Element.

My 10yo daughter is shooting a 20ga Tristar Viper G2 youth model that I got her for Christmas last year. Been pleased with it but it took a lot of rounds to get it broke in where it cycles light loads. Definitely not the same quality as my browning but it’s still a pretty nice gun for the price. Fun to shoot. Low recoil.

I like my Weatherby Element. Bought the Upland version even though it was a little more expensive. The standard synthetic versions run around $500 and the upland version can be found for $600.
