I’m curious about any anecdotal evidence around the upcoming election based on where you are, who you know that’s voting, if they’re voting the same/different than past years, etc.

I’m in Las Vegas. No way to know for sure but it feels like the tide has turned towards Trump here in Nevada, especially when compared to just four years ago. The “No Tax on Tips” may pay big dividends here since the service industry is so large in Vegas. I also know of two friends of my wife that will be first time Trump voters out here too. One of said people ugly cried during Trump’s inauguration fwiw.

Interested to hear about how the landscape is at the moment especially if you’re in a swing state also.

We had a lot of momentum here in Colorado, in 2020. It was Trump everywhere. I honestly thought we turned it around. Not much this time. Very quiet. A lot of illegals in Denver, and pushed into the already blue ski towns. A lot more transplants from NY, Cali, and Washington.

I am in Austin. You don't dare say you are a Trump supporter at work or someone will have an outbreak of TDS and you are probably going to HR.

Us Trump supporters kind of know who we are by subtle little inside jokes and then we know who we can discuss things with.

Isn't that freaking incredible that you have to hide your choice for a political party??? It is like walking on eggshells but I am close to retirement so sometimes I just don't give a frick and say I am MAGA.

Madison is waking up to Kamala. I see signage now.

In rural Wisconsin its all Trump.

Same as the last 2 elections.

Its going to be super close.

I give Kamala the edge due to all the drop boxes in Madison and Milwaukee.

I’m in Fort Lauderdale. It’s blue, but I only know maybe a few yoga girls who despise Trump. I run a lot and switch up my routes. No Trump stuff, but I see American flags a lot. Couple of pockets of Biden/Harris signs.

I’m pretty much surrounded by Trump folks. I work in sales and most people who sell and do well, are conservative.

I will say, we hire all young people out of college and it’s refreshing to see sharp young professionals who work hard. 99% of them are die hard MAGA. Clearly come from families with good parenting. Makes sense.

Signage... I forgot about that.

Absolutely none in my neighborhood at all. Very eerie .

Outside of pure cynical pandering, I have yet to hear why this is a policy we should support or promote.

Florida is pretty solid red now not saying the usual suspects Gainesville, Tampa, Tallahassee, etc will still vote democrat but after the Governor Race and Desantis winning big Florida is still safe for the Republicans in November.

Yeah, I don’t remember signs really anywhere around downtown Fort Lauderdale. I’m in a townhome and my wife parks in our garage, me in the driveway. Zero chance I’d put anything Trump on my truck. Not worth the hassle. I do fly an American flag.

Get on the water, it’s a different story. Trump flags everywhere still. What’s crazy is mansions on the intercoastal fly Trump flags, and there all up and down from Miami to Jupiter.

We have lots of people up here flying Trump flags on their golf carts. Yet to see any Harris flags.

I’m not hearing much discussion except from my 80 yr old mother. She watches MSNBC every waking hour. She asked my thoughts on Walz and I just said I won’t vote for him. She was surprised as her friends love him. Hell if I know what’s going on.

I’m in Houston and this is the quietest political race (in terms of support) that I can recall. I haven’t even seen the new Kamala gear yet. I think we are going to see low turnout in November.

The one time I left the house in the past month I got side swiped by a car with 5 mexicans from texas.

USAA is taking care of it, but hell IDK. people are shtiheads and crazy so i assume it's bad and we will get what we deserve as a nation.

Get my groceries delivered, dinner too when i don't feel like cooking. just enjoying the ride until the kids grown so I can move where the trad ladies are.

This bit is scaring the hell out of service industry workers. Long time professionals are concerned that they will be cut out of the social security system. They are worried that if the tips arent counted they will have zero purchasing power when buying a car or a house. No one over 21 years old wants this no tax on tips suggestion. This is a horrible idea.
