Actually, there's an absolute right to free speech, guaranteed by The First Amendment of the US Constitution, Tim.

Criminal libel doesn't exist in this country Tim. And the Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that hateful speech is protected.

These Marxists are insane.

When are our resident liberals going to defend him on this??

In the future, will you be put in jail for telling a lie?

It's not absolute, but very close to it.
This guy is completely unamerican

What gives him the right to say "There's no right to free speech"?
Exactly.
Exactly.

Not only do anti Trump people love diddling kids, but they also hate free speech.

Ironic that he says the govt should decide. The 1st amendment was specifically designed to protect speech against the govt. Courts have ruled forever that the most protected right is free speech against the govt.

You are right, but when the government and the corporations that are in their back pocket get to decide what is/isn't spoken along the approved agenda lines, they get to decide whether you have free speech or not.

This guy is dangerous. There's a dark side behind the facade of "I'm just a rootin tootin midwest ball coach, aye".

He’s the most dangerous type of modern day politician. His “packaging” and demeanor come off as harmless if not well intended to the average normie, but his philosophies and principles are evil.

Britain is throwing people in prison daily over this.
The issue, of course, is who determines what is “hate speech” or “disinformation”.
Lot of people were deplatformed and isolated because of Covid craziness. A lot of what was labeled “disinformation” and conspiracy theories turned out to be true.
And true disinformation was actually spread by those who want to shut up different views.

Who gets to decide if something is "misinformation"? Democrats are the modern Nazi Party.

The only limit to free speech is incitement to an illegal act.
The popular phrase “yelling fire in a crowded theater, was coined by a Supreme Court justice in 1919 in his opinion stating opposition to the draft is not protected free speech.
That ruling was overturned a few decades later.
So yes, you can yell fire in a crowded theater.
